If we get stuck in from the kick off, get in there faces and give them no time on the ball, then we can win this game. Morecambe 3 - 1 Aldershot..
1430 crowd.

I think that this game will be a close one. With the Shrimps going down 1-0 but win will come back in the second half and scrape a 2-1 win.

I think attendence will be low but won't drop past 1500 fingers crossed!

Come on Shrimps lets drive ourselves onward and upwards a few string of wins will make this happen!

5-0 to Morecambe :D ! Sudden sunshine starting on Monday along with QAQ will bring out exactly 6000 people. Only 7 people from Aldershot tough, since most of 'em thought the weather would still be awful. However, we will only win 5-0 if we play this line up:

Roche
Holdsworth McCready Parrish Capaldi
Hurst Brown Drummond Wilson
Jevons Spencer

We've got our mojo back now with Deano in charge, and were the better side for long periods against Chesterfield on Saturday. That said, we never do well at your place, so hopefully a change of ground will put that to bed.

2-0 Shots, with about 70 travelling.

Talking of travelling, where is the best place to get a decent ale now? And can we still park at the ground.

Cheers

What have people got against Charnock? Don't think he's done too much wrong and has done a lot right. Or is it just a 'rest a couple and use the squad' thing, with the number of games we've got?

Shots fans travelling can still use the York Hotel, which isn't a million miles away. Or if you want something nearer the ground, there's the William Mitchell on your right as you approach the ground and the Regent Holiday Park bar right opposite the entrance, making away fans welcome.

Various bits of parking near the ground - contact the club for parking minibuses etc.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Sammy's difficult decision over Charnock or McCready...I think he has chosen correctly.

2-1 to the Shrimps.

I think it is a toss up between McCready and Charnock to fill in alongside Parrish. Both are fairly competent although both have made the odd error along the way. McCready was pulled off red faced after 20 odd minutes against Crewe, having been beaten all ends up by Donaldson. Charnock has given away a couple of soft penalties in silly situations which have cost us points. I do think we have strengthened quite significantly though this area of the team from this season to last. Anybody catch the textbook Artell defending on the Football League Show?

id have Charnock over McCready due to he as faster recovery pace and his more comfortable on the ball.

McCready i do rate him but he's been at fault aswell with a lot of goals lately being to slow tracking back

When McCready is on the bench, he is the keenest sub I've seen. pacing around up and down the warm-up area for the full 90!

I have nothing against Charnock, but I think McCready is stronger in the air . Charnock is very comfortable on the ball though and they're both excellent tacklers.

I reckon that the way we are shooting (which direction) will affect it slightly. I reckon we could clinch a winner if we are shooting towards the MBW stand in 2nd half. Although, some may argue that this will have no effect whatsoever, I think it does spur the players on a bit more.

It was annoying on Saturday that we didn't take more shots from distance, especially on the skiddy surface. The one shot of note from distance was spilled by their keeper, yet we didn't capitalise.

Agree, especially if there are only a few away fans in The Bay Stand. Playing towards an empty end in the second half can't be inspiring!
