We had a lovely detour on the way there to join Justin Jackson for his party. The fun day was very well attended by the home fans and Christie with 5000 at the game itself, 146 from Morecambe. The weather was sunny all day, cheeseburgers typical of a football ground but not too pricey. Stewards (from Chesterfield) very officious with the home fans. At least the away canteen didn't run out of cold drinks.

The debate rages on why we had first a Lancaster bomber (+ a.n.other) circling before the game and 4 fighter planes during the game. Suggestions so far include RAF 60th anniversay and the launch of a new bitter.

Great weekend. Mork & Mindy had a ball with Pinky & Perky and Punch & Judy Thanks to Bob for helping us locate the local hostelries - was quite shocked at your singing but when 22 stone Lee showed us nearly every one of his tattoos it was just too much The ones inside his mouth just made me cringe Great party - got our own back when we got locked in and the compare said Lincoln could only get a draw - he didnt realise we were Morecambe fans and it was too late to kick us out
