Travel To Chester Tomorrow

Postby Jody » Mon Oct 06, 2008 5:21 pm

Due to unreasonable employers, Gary Hocking now has one place available for the trip to Chester tomorrow. He will be leaving Christie Park at 4pm. Anyone interested can contact him asap on 07782377025.
Ps if anyone has room for a little one, and is leaving Lancaster around 5pm can they send me a PM please.
Thank You
Jody

You have a PM, plenty of room unless timing is so tight that you bring your minibus kit with you

I was considering getting the train after work from Blackburn tomorrow, I planned the journey on nationalrail.com, went on Chesters official website and turns out the train station is 1.7 miles away from the ground

Allow 45-50 minutes walk from the station

Fork that

there is a taxi rank outside the station

the train journey is about £17 ffs im not paying for that aswell, no wonder they get no fans

According to our official website:

The station is over two miles from the ground, so you're probably best jumping in a taxi which will cost around £4

Is this right? £4? It seems cheap for a 2 mile journey :?

probably in the days of £3 a gallon Ben. We got a taxi from town to the ground last season and it was £7 - The driver dropped us off 1/4 mile short as well cause it does get cramped down that industrial road to nowhere! Should'nt be too bad tonight with all 800 fans :o They are only opening the sides of the ground not the ends. I believe
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

Anyone heard from Jody or has someone sent her the videos of me using the car to prove it can withstand accidents?
