Just thought I would share my experiences as "Christies minder" with you Shrimps fans and how popular he seems to be becoming with home and away supporters alike.
After the Wetherby mascots race and meeting other club mascots , they were saying how it would take over your life , I can see what they meant , it's almost a full time job with interviews , articles , programme notes etc etc .
Christie has a great character and sense of mischievousness which comes out as soon as the suit is on.
The best experience in the first of his nine lives was almost certainly Lincoln on Saturday where we were treated brilliantly all day at the fun day, on and off the pitch and by both sets of fans , purring with delight he was !!!.
His identity needs to be kept as secret as possible though and I for one will not be letting THE CAT OUT OF THE BAG .

i've always thought that when i've seen pro boxers with minders! why would they need them?

christie has definitely been a good innovation, i saw his 'sending off' on Soccer AM a few weeks back, it's all good publicity, and a good laugh

When I say minder , I really mean general dog's (CATS)??? body , chauffeur , fetcher and carrier and YES he is much bigger than me anyway !.
