England Fans

England Fans

Absolutely disgraceful, i know cole is a bit of an arse anyway but booing him through the game after he gave that goal away is shocking....even more shocking when 15mins later when we go 2 up again they then forget it and start applauding him. Why are England fans so deluded to the fact that we should win every game with a perfect performance. The attitude in fairness hasn't changed since like the 1940's when we thought we were too good to even be in the world cup because we 'invented' football after losing to Scotland and Poland or whatever that soon opened their eyes.
An example we need to learn from is the Scottish (of all people  ) when yesterday Iwellumo missed the easiest chance i've ever seen and that pretty much cost them the win, a win they desperately needed yet they cheered him on and encouraged him. I hope Capello and the players hit back at the fans and tell them out right that their acting like a bunch of dick heads and that they'd rather not have them come if they're guna groan for 50mins until we score.

As I said disgraceful it need to change, fans blame the players for playing better for their club rather than country....i blame the fans for supporting their club better than their country were all hypocrits :x
rant over
Get over it ;)

You don't think perhaps, it's a bit like the over the top attention that has been given to the half a dozen fans who were giving personal abuse when we do badly would be drowned out by the majority if we then did well? It's not likely to be the same people!

So how did that work out then?

I thought it was disgraceful that Cole took that level of stick. All he did was make the game more interesting and give the Kazak lad a chance to score the best goal of the game.

Seriously tho, fans should be ashamed of booing their own team...it just never makes sense!!

Don't the UK media get great joy running down any of their national teams at every opportunity? So why shouldn't the fans have their say?
Fortunately for Ashley Cole, the final result got him out of jail. The lad had the wrong studs in from the start, he was awful, and that pass, back-pass or whatever it was deserved all the plaudits it got.

Possibly the worst post i've ever read, Cole was the only out let down the left till SWP came on yeh it was a shocking pass yet Upson did the same thing in the first half but James bailed him out, as for the fans having their say?? We won the game!!!!! 5-1........
Second point were shite anyway its about time they got used to it and started getting behind the team instead of making it worse.
Get over it ;)

Oh do come on, Ashley Cole was getting bood for fun, no one meant it
it livened up a drab dreary game.
That young Arsenal boy number 7 should be dropped he had a stinker.
Upton is not good enough for England.
The whole team went missing in action for 70 mins.,

There would have been a lot of Spurs and Arsenal fans at Wembley, both sets taking any opportunity to get on the back of a former Arsenal player, adding to the few others who may have done so because of Cole's character.

Don't agree with the abuse at all but I didn't hear anyone mention this factor on Saturday (they may have done, I just didn't hear it).
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Wembley seems to accumulate a huge number of morons. Would they have done this to Rooney if he had done it? Nope. This was a mistake by a bloke who isn't massively popular, but is still the best in his position. As soon as someone puts on that shirt he should get support for 90 minutes, just as most of us do to our lot. This is also what happened to Lampard but interestingly never happened at any of the games England played on their travels when Wembley was being rebuilt. Well, apart from Elland Road against Italy when Beckham got it.
Sadly though, I don't think it is just down to Arsenal and Spurs supporters-you just don't see that many of the bigger clubs' fans at England games, but it was far from a minority, I would say it was most of the "singing section, a lot from the entire middle tier and quite a lot from the team side which includes the family stand. Not good.
