Tie of the round?

York v Mansfield

I just hope that our form turns around before the First Round proper.

I certainly wouldn't want to face an away tie v non leaguers.

You know its going to be York City away
York haven't lost at home yet
Although Fleetwood at home would be cool

I want it to be away at Newcastle Blue Star, Durham City or Blyth Spartans for purely selfish reasons ;)

A good cup run would be good, might even kick start the season, no doubt we will be drawn away again.

....and so the draw will presumably be two weeks from today, on 27th October?

A Saturday 3pm home tie would be a great boost for the club and the fans, especially with PNE being away at Norwich on the Saturday and Blackburn playing on the Sunday (live on Sky), so the attendance should be pretty healthy. Something to bear in mind, though, is the increased FA Cup TV coverage by Setanta, which may affect the time and day we play, should we be one of the matches they choose to cover.
