Atleast the away end will be filled bringing in extra revenue to the club plus the pie sales will go through the roof

Have you tried the food in the away end?

Well, here's your oppurtunity if Oldham get through, as you wish.

I'm told it is awful.

Cheers for your vote of confidence Mick, you know damned well i'll be in the home end where I always stand :(
Wonder if we get through and draw 'Spurs' in the next round if Glen would get the same bird and be 'wished' away to the visitors end :?

Is that because it might be aging pork?
No, I sampled the delights of the away end a couple of seasons ago (when we could still get in there) and had the best cheese & onion pastie ever.

I'll warm old 'Aunt Sally' to be on his best behaviour that day and provide a decent service with food to match, no lukewarm Potts or dodgy westlers will be acceptable to these ex-lancastrians 8-)

So how did that work out then?

Too right.

Anyway I hope not for Morecambe's sake cos, of course, Spurs are invincible (yeah, you've all gone quiet these last couple of weeks, haven't you?! Ner ner.)

Seriously we all think about these clashes between our 'two teams' (those who have two) and the conflict of interests.

I'd want Morecambe to win - when I look at the embarrassment for Spurs and weigh it up against the absolute, unrestrained joy for Morecambe and the years of fame it would give us, there's no contest. Spurs would get over it and go on to other things, for Morecambe it would be an amazing part of our history.
Is the glass half full or half empty? Mmmm? hard to say - but it does look like there's room for more beer!

Haven't posted for ages but this is the draw I was after.

So I still follow the Shrimps when I can down south and my mate supports Oldham down south.

It will most likely be a stop over for us and we have agreed to toss up which end we go in.

We could do with a contact for tickets though, any suggestions welcome - abuse unacceptable - we can get our fill of that down here anytime.

Thanks for the unrelated reply ;)

Did you know your tickets are cheaper than Crawley's and you get better football and great pies even in the visitors end. I know I tried them two seasons ago.

Looking forward to the visit - it was ruddy cold last time, I reckon it will be colder this time.

I was down at the Lane to watching the 4-0 thrashing of Zagreb, and was thinking what a great atmosphere it would be to see Morecambe play here in the cup. Then hopefully get them back to Christie Park. But in the meantime lets just make sure we get past our next round opponents. :)
