Is this a precedent?

Seems a bit harsh when the guy has been released. Players need to be aware of their responsibilities though.

A lot of people in "normal" jobs would be sacked in similar circumstances, especially given his already poor disciplinary record.

No sympathy here, perhaps it will bring him down a peg or two.

Congrats to Walsall on taking such a stand.

Maybe if other clubs would do the same ie Newcastle then the game would be a whole lot better.
Heroes get mentioned but Legends never die.
