Wow, Jim is certainly going for it with that formation. Let's hope there are some goals for the Morecambe faithful to cheer

Ref is a nightmare for us. Surely, eventually, one of his cock-ups will actually go our way one day? The Newcastle defender's handball on the line is probably his worst mistake.

Can't blame Jim for trying something different, but it doesn't sound like it has been successful.

25 degrees in Kendal tonight, so the half time snack is going to be a raspberry split and an ice cold beer

Maybe a few expected a rout because Hartlepool were bottom of the league. You should no by now our league form is inconsistent especially at home.

Lammy posted on Facebook at half time:

That's one of the worst halves of football I've ever seen from a Morecambe side, the comedy own goal encapsulated it. Fans slating the players and players including the captain giving it back, what's happening here? I had a very mediocre Sunday league career, but I reckon I could go on that pitch and look decent.

:( :(

Dreadful stuff by the sound of it.

Whereas the glass half empty brigade will want to sack everyone, change the manager, sell the ground and 'remember' how much better it was when we were in the Northern Premier.

Not saying it is. Home form, and more to the point, home performances, have been dreadful.

However, away form & performances have been superb. The nay-sayers generally only comment upon the poor home performances, the 'rose tinted specs' brigade tend to look at the whole picture. If you've spent money and wasted a couple of hours of your life actually going to the home matches, it is quite understandable, expressing frustration. But defending against it, is reasonable too. Fortunately, this season I've seen a few away games to balance out some of the awful home games. If (for example) you'd seen Dagenham & Redbridge both at home AND away, you'll have a balanced view, one excellent game, one dreadful.

Sounds like we're getting going at last. Last 15 minutes... COME ON!

Beeley being stretchered off. We really don't need him to be injured.

Going for what? Relegation and even smaller crowds? Will he never learn that throwing forwards on to bolster the midfield just doesn't work. He keeps trying it with the subs, and it doesn't work, but today was just taking the piss with a completely illogical formation. Again, Kev was poor as was Wright and Fleming. Two weeks ago, it was clear that Kenyon, Williams and Goodall got the blame even though they were the only ones to show any passion. Today, they didn't feature, so can't be blamed, like they shouldn't have been blamed last time. We have a midfield yet Jim keeps leaving it on the bench. Today it looked like 11 players who'd never played together before as they could barely string passes together. Completely hopeless. Jim can't blame the pitch, he can't blame injuries, so come on Jim, what's your excuse?

The last 30 mins was one of the more entertaining periods we've had at the globe recently, though that is damning with faint praise.

The team rightly got plaudits for their superb performance last week, but need to take the criticism this week for that poor performance against the team who are bottom of the table. It is very worrying how we can be so poor at home yet a force on the road - and it's not a blip, it's been like this for several seasons.
