Directors

Postby Heysham_Shrimp » Wed Mar 18, 2015 5:51 pm

On the AGM notice it mentions confirming the appointment of M Hinchcliffe as a director.

I checked on Companies House and although that name wasn't mentioned it did say that Mark Mace and Peter Cross had both ceased being directors this month.

Interesting times and the AGM could be lively !

Strange last year with the Althams joining the board and then resigning just a few months later.

very old news hinchy joined the board last year a couple of months after the men from althams stepped down, all reported in the local papers at the time, and on the official website, also mentioned in match programmes etc.

what would have been interesting was appointments of chinese billionaires or something,so,a non story.

Hardly a non story when 2 more directors leave the board.

given that PMG owns all but a trifling amount of the shares in the club, the comings and goings of a few very minor shareholding local business folk is an irrelavence.

As for the AGM,it is also irrelavent, PMG can do pretty much what he wants regarding the club.

Well as Mark Mace was the negotiator of players contracts I would have thought it was quite important news that he has left the board.

Presumably then PMG is now going to negotiate with players.

Peter Cross has been a great supporter and Director for the club for many years. It does him a huge injustice calling him a minor shareholder.

Would be the first time if it is. In all my seasons as a Shareholder' AGM's have been predictable to say the least and I see no reason why this one will be any different.

too right neil,is it a year since shareholders came away all giddy about things like, 'major investment from china' and 'new bar behind the home terrace' etc, lol, its a pointless meeting where vague promises will be met by arse kissing

Having said that MPH, I wonder what if anything has been done about the suggestion to run a coach to Fleetwood Town's home games as someone suggested at last years meeting...!
