From what I saw some of the Hartlepool fans became video 'stars'...thanks to the local constabularies use of their personal video capture.

Good luck James, it seems to me that you are being made a scapegoat.

You've admitted that you've done wrong, but as you say there are lots of examples of bad behaviour that go unpunished.

So is this a reaction to the troubles with the so called firm and being seen to be doing something about it?
No offence to James, but we are hearing one side of the story.
If there is an appeal then no doubt this thread will be zapped

why not ask your friends if they can organise a minutes applause to show support for your plight, and start a petition, ask your legal friend to 'word' it for you?

I didn't know you could appeal if you pleaded guilty?

Was this down at the Wimbledon end of the main stand?

I remember when in the conference it kicked off in the North stand and certain well known supporters chucking punches but did they get a 3 year ban?

Surprised no one's checked the CCTV within the ground, give the club some dates, times & locations and they should be able to see this incident and previous, shouldn't they?

Was that the Accy game when the Burnley BNP came in the home end looking for trouble? Problem for this lad (and why they made an example by the looks of things) was that he assaulted a steward. Still, pleading guilty and getting a 3 year ban sounds harsh.

Yes I was referring to the Accy game
another one is the family members of a certain Morecambe player causing trouble with Tranmere fans
but guess what?....no bans

For anyone who missed it, Rod's excellent programme article is reproduced on the OWS:

(accompanied by a photo of someone in the Omega Stand holding a smoke bomb. Identifiable??)
