Fantastic result, well done lads.

Have to be honest and admit I decided not to bother going to this game when I normally would. In true Morecambe style, I have been proved I should have stuck with them!

Great substitutions but still stand by my comment about Kev starting !

Make no mistake. We were fng awful for 80 mins then the manager got lucky with his subs & saves himself from public slaughter. Take the win but not good enough. "Papering over the cracks" was a well used phrase on the terraces...

We were awful for 80 mins. Hardly a chance created then out of nothing 2 goals. I'm not going to criticise Jim though, made two changes, we started playing, Bury starting panicking, result! Be glad everyone a win is a win!

Don't know what people want .... At least we aren't in Tranmeres or Carlisle's position

More points than last season with 5 games left so not too bad idea

Check out their Fans Forum (I've provided a link elsewhere).

According to them they reckon that Bury where clueless in the second 45 and blame their manager for changing formation.

Whatever....

How big is Bury's wage bill compared to ours. And we have taken 6 points from them.

How big is Luton's wage bill. And we have taken 6 points from them too.

And 6 points also from Newport County.

Still a chance to take 6 points from Burton and Southend.

Think where we could be if we could beat Accrington etc etc

Could of easily been 3-0 by the time we got our equaliser but ward an the defence were superb. The idiots in fancy dress all shouting taxi for bentley before we scored our first one too, makes them look like even bigger idiots now !

I'm sure the vast majority who go and watch us want better performances than what we're seeing pretty much week in, week out, a bit like those heady old days when you came along. It would take very little for us to be in Carlisle or Tranmere's position at the moment. Anyway, we're safe for another season so that's the main thing!

As said above awful for 80 mins then brilliant for 10 mins, thought we would get a third. Our goalkeepers need to learn to roll the ball out and not just hoof it..... Gave possession away so many times doing this.

Great result against decent opposition. Thought it was only going to go one way until we equalised and then we actually started paying with some flair are confidence. Even when we 2-1 up we didn't park the bus and were fairly comfortable in the end. Well done lads! Only my second win since Bury at home and the first match all season my bro had seen win from about 12 attempts. Only a shame that the goals were far up the other end and could not make out who actually scored. Ha ha!

Still got major problems in midfield. In the summer I would hang on to most of the strikers/defenders and invest in 2-3 quality midfielders. We get overrun too easily and lack creativity at the moment. Defence though is solid and with Podge, Mullers and Redshaw we have some decent poachers upfront.
