Portsmouth fans

What a terrific bunch from down south at the Globe today.

Here for a party and not willing to let the footy spoil a good day out.

Was lovely to see their famous fan posing for pics with home fans after the game.

Not sure why Devitt was targeted for some abuse as he came over to take a corner, but his delivery for the second goal was the perfect answer.. :D

Good bunch the lot of them.

They gave us on the Berlin Wall some light hearted stick this afternoon but at the end of proceedings both sets of fans turned and applauded each other. Fantastic stuff.

THIS is what we're all about.

Great atmosphere.

The fat blokes dancing behind the goals were entertaining

The crowd seemed bigger than just over 2,000.

Credit to the Pompey fans as they were in party mood throughout the game despite their team getting beaten by a better Morecambe side on the day. I think that the number of supporters they brought especially after the long trip to Carlisle in the last week shows the commitment and dedication the supporters have shown and proves that despite all their off field troubles over the last few years their support has never dwindled. Well done

Gallows humour in my book, their team were shocking and they deserve better.

Some of their fans probably didn't watch any of the football. The composition of the away end lends itself to that kind of carry-on where you get people performing at the bottom. Not sure you'd get away with it at any other ground in the FL.

Quite a few, more than a few actually, didn't.

Their "celebrity" fan turned up late (as he did last year! Apparently he's famous for it) and also came back onto the terrace late for the second half. Didn't observe him watching much of the actual game in truth.

Nor the "Tiny Dancers" at the front of the terrace !!

Each to their own.

Bit disappointed to find out that Pompey's famous fan does not actually have real blue dreads and is a quite normal guy who runs a bookshop!

Decent fans who deserve better. Probably the biggest team ever to lose a league game in Morecambe. :D
