Play Offs O/T

Chesterfield v Preston is a feisty one. Numerous brawls including Cook and Beckford in the tunnel at HT. Jimmy Ryan lucky not to be sent off.

The highest scoring play off of all time tonight 5-5 with Swindon winning 7-6 on aggregate. Shame I watched Arsenal v Swansea instead!

Cheers people,

Thought it was going to be another night of disaapointment when we went behind again.... The Penalty at the end and missing it was beyond belief, but in extra time I think our strength in depth and fitness told. Timlins goal was an immense moment for such a committed player. (Some saying he should be committed for wanting to play with that injury, let alone making the whole 120 minutes). lol.

Still, nothing achieved yet, apart from a day out that will bring 30,000 plus out in blue. Hopefully with a happy ending for us, but it will be tight. and I'm really nervous.

If we do make it though, we can play a season where 138 points are up for grabs and not 132 :!: :!: :!: :D

Anyway thanks again....tbc on Saturday!

Some nice signings by the way.

They are, definitely.

You should get yourself on Twitter ;)

Wembley have tweeted this morning that nothing is affected, and posted same in the link above:

"This weekend's games remain unaffected and we look forward to welcoming supporters of all six Football League Play-Off finalists to Wembley", it tweeted.

As much as I enjoy our regular 6 pointer v Southend I really do not like Wycombe, so on that basis alone it's Southend who I would like to see progress to League 1.

I look forward to further encounters (and a 6 point guaranteed haul :D ) in season 2016 / 2017 when we once again do battle but this time in League 1.

"Wycombe were in the automatic promotion places until they were beaten by Morecambe two games from the end of the season. Morecambe then beat Southend a week later to end their dreams... the party-poopers"

Will serve Wycombe right if they lose this after all the chances they had at getting a second goal.

They brought Peter Murphy on specially for his penalty in the shoot out.

Could have been his last kick as a Wycombe player ;)
