Could have been his last kick as a Wycombe player ;)

Would be more than welcome to exit the M6 at Junction 34 on a regular basis for me.... ;)

yes , goal scoring midfielder who can take penalties ticks a few boxes :D

Well done to Southend. It didn't look good when they were 1-0 down in the last minute of injury time or when they were the first to miss a penalty in the shoot-out.

Those fans who left early with the game so close didn't deserve to be let back in on such a great occasion , unbelievable . I was going to say that the officials had a good game but the ref cocked up good style with that missed pen, it was a stone waller.

Oh and thanks for fckuing our w'ends in Southend ;)

Southend must be relieved he moved on but he was always a loose cannon. Can't see being at Rangers after this.

Indeed, the article clearly states "it is safe to say he won't be at Rangers next season."

What an absolute bell end he is. Wonder if he got a taxi away from this game too?

Hes a joke of a player. Complete liabilty. Poor concentration, decision making, awareness. He thinks hes one of these centre backs thats good on the ball trying to take men on and play ambitious passes. Im ashamed to say he ever played for Rangers. I will be glad to see the back of him. Not sure why the police are looking in to the incident though. These things happen in sport. Only last week Abel Hernandez punched Phil Jones and no action was taken by the police.

Earlier in the game a Motherwell fan deliberately hit Lee McCulloch in the face with a flag which was on a pole. The stewards appeared to take no action. Cant say im surprised this has been played down by the media though, their bias is becoming tedious.

I saw this clip on Twitter last night and I thought the 'Well fan actually tried to swipe (in all innocence) the ball back to the Rangers player with his flag as it had gone out to touch.

Unfortunately, the motion of the flag continued - to then make contact with the Rangers player.

Looked a complete accident to me.

PNE again in the papers this time for the wrong reason. Seems to be a problem with some of their fans spilling onto the pitch all the time as we know full well.

They have some horrible fans like the women who took the PNE shirt off a young boy right in front of the camara & stewards. How can you stoop so low.

Radio Lancashire were mentioning a PNE fan with terminal cancer who was waiting to see if she could go to the Play-Off final.

And from the BBC Website:

Stevenage manager Teddy Sheringham has registered himself as a player and could feature for the League Two club in the Herts Senior Cup.

The 49-year-old former Tottenham, Manchester United and England forward retired from playing in 2008.

But he could play for Boro against Welwyn Garden City on Wednesday alongside his assistant Kevin Watson, who has also registered as a player.

Stevenage said the move was "not an uncommon occurrence at the club".

A statement added that members of previous management teams had played in the county cup competition.

Boro's former goalkeeping coach Dave Beasant was also named on the bench for their League Two play-off first leg against Southend United last season at the age of 56.

Sheringham, who scored 11 goals in 51 international appearances for England, originally quit playing at the age of 42 at the end of the 2007-08 campaign.
