O/T Lack of ambition?

O/T Lack of ambition?

Postby Christies Child » Mon Jun 01, 2015 12:06 pm

Matty Hughes who was a full time pro at Fleetwood last season and has played against us on a number of occasions has signed for AFC Fylde despite being offered a full time contract at Accy. This shows for me either a lack of ambition; the inability of Accy ( and possibly ourselves :?: ) to compete even v AFC Fylde financially or (in his particular case) its a lack of ambition coupled with being able to earn more as a Part Time player in a League two stages below League 2.

This for me highlights the difficulty that Jimbo could have in attracting quality players to our club despite being on the threshold of a possible promotion to League 1.

No, it's becasue AFC Fylde have got a money man throwing loads of money at them. He's probably getting paid more playing for Fylde than Accrington can offer him.

Bloody hell CC, how can you come out with a sweeping statement like that (possible promotion etc) We have only signed two players. I despair sometimes, we are one of the smallest clubs, with one of the smallest budgets yet people start talking about promotions before the squad is completed and a ball has been kicked. Lets hope we are 30 points clear by Christmas otherwise watch your back, Jim.

It never ceases to amaze me the shite that you can post CC.

How much do we have to lose per year to have enough ambition?

Do you say all this stuff to merely troll the board?
