His one and only game for Notts County.

Broke Manny Panther's foot, decided he couldn't hack League 2, took exception to the (very) basic facilities in the away dressing room at Christie Park, got beat by Morecambe 2-1, and never appeared for County again!!!

Sol Campbell, :? .. he's got an absolute fantastic personality for the Job, the total opposite to Boris Johnson.

I think Sols exit from County was more to do with not being paid by club owners at the time and Ponzi schemr, Munto Finance.... Even Sven got caught up in the hype.

If Sol doesn't win the London mayoral (100/1 outsider) do you think he'll be bringing another book out claiming that he was overlooked due to race?

I hope he comes closer to winning than George Galloway.

83 caps for England, 3 as captain.
Kept Macc in the league when it looked impossible and still owed £183,000.
Not being backed at Southend (January; 8 out, none in) even though results and mood has improved.
Often ridiculed and rarely given credit or respect.

I'd recommend the following for a better understanding of the man.

On the contrary , Sol seems to follow troubled clubs around.
