with all due respect to the last couple of comments, you cannot 'loan out', a player that is not under contract to play for you, YFI.

I also think it a shame that some people on here are stooping to the kind of abuse that we see on other forums.

'with all due respect' is hardly an abusive comment, even if it was over deserved, a tad patronising I suppose, but I was just pointing out the obvious to anyone who I felt needed it.

Has Stav signed for another club because if not then we need to sign him up again?

Surely his wages can't be that high when you consider that being local he has no travelling expenses which by bringing somebody in from outside the area would have. Also Stav has experience at League 2 which we may need sometime during the season.

I heard we're getting a keeper on loan from Huddersfield as a number 2 for free for 6 months. If true then stav an trialist tony thompson won't be signed I imagine !

Be interested to know where you are getting your info from. If as suggested that we are taking a goalkeeper on loan from Huddersfield, there seems little sense in Jimbo stating that he will use Thompson v Carnforth on Monday if we are to take somebody on a 6 month loan.

Why on earth would you release Scotty Davies then take stav on trial  that's like sleeping with Susan Boyle when michelle Keegan is on offer !

Because they would have been paying Scott a small fortune to sit on the bench whereas Stav will cost peanuts in comparison.

I will have to see that in black and white before I believe it
I was having a talk with a guy claiming to be Ryan Lowes brother in law of a friend wearing a suit, who had a story to tell

I'd be amazed if that was true. He wouldn't come to sit on our bench and Baz wouldn't bench warm unless his injury is still a problem, but it didn't appear to be in pre-season.

So how did that work out then?
