Liverpool have turned down a 3rd bid from City and refuse to budge from 50m which city won't pay!
Liverpool's American owners are not budging and will let Sterling rot in the reserves!
They fly out tomorrow for the tour of Australia ..if Sterling is not on that plane, he will play with the reserves!......imagine if he's plays on the 1st August at the Globe..The press interest will go through the roof!
And a lot of angry Liverpool fans might just turn up!

can't see it going on much longer, but if it did,Jim could suggest to Rodgers that an ideal punishment for sterling would be to loan him to us for 6 months!!

An ideal punishment would be for him to be loaned to us, so then we could let him rot in our reserves. Let's be honest if he doesn't want to play for Liverpool he sure as hell wouldn't WANT to play for us on loan, so in which case I'd rather not have him here creating a bad smell over the place not matter how much media attention it may stir up

Stirling was named in the tour squad, but wanted to stay behind (maybe tired) so he has now been removed.

Mignolet
Bogdan
Fulton
Clyne
Gomez
Lovren
Moreno
Toure
Wisdom
Cleary
Skrtel
Sakho
Maguire
Allen
Henderson
Leas
Milner
Chirivella
Rossiter
Teixeira
Ibe
Kent
Ojo
Wilson
Lallana
Markovic
Ings
Lambert
Origi

Sturridge is still crocked, don't know about Coutinho or Enrique?

Which is why I didn't edit the title!

But it was a pretty tenuous link from a grumpy Liverpool fan!

Van Persie went for less than £5M, but he is earning £240K a week at Fenerbache - just a million quid a month, not bad I suppose

Liverpool fans conveniently forgetting the club waving money in the direction of sterling to get him to leave QPR as a youngster.

Because loyalty only applies leaving a club, not to the club they leave to join yours (or when you want rid of a player)

This thread isn't off topic. It mentions a player from Garstang.

George Dawes the new Bernard Manning. Lazy racist stereotyping strikes again.

hook line and sinker, I knew you would bite.

the reply was in reference to posts on this thread and to the hate Stirling is getting in Football(like wanting his legs broke), what's over the top BTW, what the difference with this and when Michael Owen wanted to leave LFC to play for a bigger club and win things, Owen was still a young lad in his mid 20s, and Liverpool & Football fans in general although they weren't happy about it did acceept it, so why is Raheem Sterling any different?

Fair play to Newport at least someone gave him another chance just like Jack. And according to the Halifax Town Forum it seems we were one of the clubs chasing Boden before he moved to Newport. :o
