A other superb pass from the left Flickr onto Kev by Wildig and he finds the bottom corner from just outside the box, 2-2!!

What position does A Triallist play ?

Pay attention, it's T Riallist that we have playing for us, not A Triallist.

There's a lot of 'em about these days....

It's ended 2-2. A fast paced and entertaining game, chances for both sides, some daft tackles, some good football.
When we realised that Blackpool had been tweeting from minute one, we decided we better update on here!!

Shaun Miller was the trialist striker, started off at Crewe before moving to Sheffield United and then Coventry. Had loan spells at Crawley and York last season without scoring.

It was Shaun Miller, who has had a poor time recently but did make his name at Crewe. He's 27, neat footballer.

Thanks for the updates freez, only just seen them finished work late. Sounds like another good workout against a team at a higher level. Who stood out for us ? Did someone else get to captain the side today too ?

A decent player, would be happy if we signed him up with someone like Jack Dunn on loan.

Captain for us was Alan Goodall. Stand outs were a good first half from Mullers and Barkhuizen, Moly has been a thorn in all oppositions side and was so again first period.
Second half, Devitt cam on paired wth Wildig who both looked class. Edwards was steady as was Paz, Willo had his best game defensively.
Captain for Blackpool was .....Jack Redshaw.
He was booed by Kenny McKenna when he lead the team out, jokingly, and Jack was brilliant, he clapped all four sides of the empty ground then turned and waved at Kenny (still boo-ing!!) laughing his head off.

Miller looked pretty decent on his half an hour! Defo worth another look!

Thanks should go to the Tangerine who booked his caravan holiday to coincide with the match and tried everything he could to get a view of the game, while being nudged by his mates to pretend he was Nile Rabger, a programme seller or just head through the unlocked ambulance gates

This guy would do nicely for us as a replacement for Redshaw. I hope we can afford his wages but he can't be beyond reach as he's trialling with us. Just got a feeling he could be the goal scorer we're looking for :D

Apparently wanted by Stevenage and Cambridge too. If he's not a northerner I don't think he'll be signing for us !

His recent record suggests otherwise.

BUT if Jimbo reckons he's worth a deal and knowing how he does his homework on players, then no problem!

Had a few bad injuries at Sheffield United, he was once highly regarded at Crewe. If we got him back to full fitness and anywhere near to what he was like at Crewe, we'd have a decent player on our hands!

Blackpool have been fined £50K for the Huddersfield pitch invasion, can't see that making much of a difference to the price of a donkey ride

So, if a fine is imposed over the Giant Axe farce, who gets it? The Donkeys or the Dollies?

Blackpool were fined for not controlling the fans so the Dollies would be fined. That's why I don't agree with their fans invading away pitches, the only people they'll punish are themselves and the home team.
