Now the pre season is over

Now the pre season is over

Postby Jettyson » Sat Aug 01, 2015 9:38 pm

It's time to get real.
IF we are going to compete at the right end of the table we need a settled 11, which so far we haven't had as the plan was get everyone fit.
I agree with a comment on the match thread that Fleming and Kev are squad players but Jimbo has a week to sort out his best 11 and it won't be easy.
Three points against Hartlepool would be a great start as they look bottom end material. That opening game will be a good indicator IF we go to win.

Can't wait for Hartlepool. June and July are difficult months spent shopping with our loved ones. No man wants to be stood outside a Primark changing room on a Saturday afternoon. Don't worry lads August has arrived, competitive football is back. We can never guarantee performances on the pitch but let's make sure we are the '12th man' in the stands.

Mr P,
In a 4/5/1 I don't see Murphy as a wideman.

I would have murphy captain,I like paz but feel theres a reason that after all this time here its not been given to him,and I think midfield is where the captain should be.

I'd go for:
Roach
Beeley Parrish Edwards Wilson
Murphy ( c )
Molyneux Wildig Barky/Devitt
Mullin Barky/Devitt

5 attacking players, especially at home.

-----------------baz------------------

Beeley Edwards Paz Wilson

Murphy Fleming

Devitt Wildig Molyneux

Mullin

That's the team what needs to start. If Jim starts with Kev which I think he will instead of either mullin or devitt it could be a bad move, bring him on with 15 to go once the games won !

you clueless little man. So you'd leave molyneux who's been our best player in pre season besides wildig out the same for Ellison who contributed nothing whatsoever yesterday ?

Yes, because footbal is a squad game, its not about picking who you perceive to be the best 11 players every single game.

For an away fixture I would rather have Kenyon in the middle for his defensive capabilities whereas Fleming will be more suited to home games alongside Murphy & Wildig. I feel Molyneux will be better utilsed off the bench to run them ragged when their legs are tiring.

Thanks for saying I'm clueless though, I can assure you the feeing is more than mutual!

kendal shrimp, who can always be relied on for insults and bad grammer, has yet to post up his team, was he one of the fans wanting us to start hiring rapists?

I stand corrected, he has copied my team, apart from putting Fleming in rather than Barchusen, I am not Fleming fan, he seems to divide opinion though.

Can't see Hartlepool struggling this coming season like they did last.

Outside bet for the Play Offs I reckon.

Hartlepool played 3. Won 3.

As I said. They'll do well this season.

After a dozen league and two super JPT performances anyone changing their mind?
I would (after earlier saying impact sub) include Ellison and have Mullers as impact sub (assuming everyone is fit)
