Agreed a one year contract with us. If we sign the young lad from Preston too and mullin can kick on this year. Won't be too bad after all in the striker department :D welcome to morecambe Shaun !

Really good signing ...Very good pedigree and if he gets back to some of his old form he will be a real asset

I feel this could be a great bit of business for us. I liked the look of him when he came on and think he could grab a few goals this season.

I just hope it works out for all parties.

Bring Jack in from PNE and we should have options.

Shaun looked to be working very hard in training at the open day yesterday and was the main goal scorer in their short/small end to end games as part of training. A very promising signing.

Could be a really good signing for us and as its a 1 year deal he will have to work hard to earn a further contract. :D :D

Hope Shaun can find his touch from his Crewe days. However I think that a lot of our goals will come from our midfield this season.

Welcome to the club Shaun.

It does look as if we have quite a few players who will be willing to have a crack at goal this year. Let's hope they are encouraged to.

I think this is as good a signing as we could hope to make. An experienced proven goalscorer who still has a few good years in him to take the pressure off Mullin.

I think Mullin should be capable of hitting 10 goals this season. If Miller can hit 10 as well with the midfield scoring goals as well then we're laughing.

According to Adam Lord on twitter...Shaun Miller is the first of 3 signings to be made before Saturday

Jack Ryan is the 2nd one

So be interesting to see who the third one is ....Possibly a goalkeeper ??? :D

KenH wrote:At the open day, they had a couple of tables with 15/16 season shirts and a football, that all the players, including Thompson were signing, presumably to be sold/auctioned at a later date. That tends to suggest that Thompson is our substitute goalie for this season. At previous year's open days, triallists and youth squad players havn't been involved in the autograph sessions even when they've been out on the pitch training with the first team.
