Tyson fury o/t

Postby Kendalshrimp » Wed Sep 23, 2015 6:51 pm

His press conference with klitchsko was on another level. He came in dressed up as batman someone followed dressed up as the joker who Tyson then wrestled on the floor before pointing to klitchsko saying this is what's guna happen when I face you

Love him or hate him there's nobody else as entertaining as him with the media. Hope he wins the world title and comes the globe to to show it off one match day, does he still live in the town ?

Yes he lives in Morecambe.

Not too sure whereabouts though as for obvious reasons it is not disclosed.

It would be nice if his boxing shorts could have the MFC Shrimp badge embossed like Isaac Lowe has.

I suppose Joshua is the more talented and no doubt they'll fight each other in the next 18 months. But furys fight is on sky box office and he couldn't be doing anymore to sell it better really. More pay per view buys more ££ for the fighters even tho he'll be getting a big payday either way ! Seen him jogging a couple of times on match days be good for the town if he wins but it's a massive test !

I really wish they wouldn't but the press always quote him as the fighter/boxer from Manchester! Like or loath him he could be a very useful advert for the town and club if a connection could be formed

As he's not got a fight now, he's going in the Omega Stand on Tuesday

Any news on the fight being rescheduled yet ? Also seen him tweet to vote him as an MP of morecambe town today. Is he being serious or having another dig at klitchsko as they do similar stuff in running for their country I believe

David Morris claims he has single handedly been responsible for the digging of the By-pass!!

Tyson looks like he has single handedly dug it!!

Meanwhile, Isaac Lowe has commented he would love for one of his fights to be staged at The Globe Arena

He was on Granada Reports this evening. Wants to be the MP. Wants UK out of EU. Will buy property to house homeless people. A bit too much 'god' stuff for my liking. Appears to be a nice enough bloke, not sure I'd want him as an MP though. That said, if the choice was simply between him and Morris? Hmm...

Don't know much about him besides him being British champion but would he pull a big enough fan base in to make it worth while staging a fight at the globe? Surely with a little help of Tyson promoting it he could !

I'm pretty sure they're cousins.

Isaac has a very big fan base. Has the MFC logo on his shorts.

I hope it happens sometime soon!

Maybe our commercial department could make contact and see if he can give the mighty Shrimps some publicity.
