Not a return by CC but feel that this info should be shared by all on SVs.

Listened to the entire game on Radio Cumbria and they said that our defense won everything in the air and that our attack play was superb.

:D :D :D

Keith Curle on Radio Cumbria said Morecambe were the better side and that the score flattered Carlisle.

just got back, great win today, they looked good going forward, but it was the pace of our counter attacking what was the difference today, and everyone one of our Lads wanting to win the 2nd balls

Hopefully we are now back on track. Certainly sounds as if we were back to good football. Brilliant. well done to all including the fans that travelled.

Great win today, with the defence instilling confidence to the rest of the team and allowing the front players to attack with gustoe.

Wait until you see Jim's interview on Player, Freez couldn't shut him up!!!

Superb game, really entertaining. Carlisle hit the woodwork twice and Barry made a save one on one, but we could have had seven! The way we break is fantastic. No one had a poor game. Kev was excellent, which is great to see after the negative comments about him recently. I was among those who said he should be an impact sub, from the 70th minute or so, but not today. A couple of his slide tackles were incredible.

Looking forward to seeing the Player highlights. In fact, Channel 5's football programme might be worth watching tonight! :D :D :D

Great win, great day :D

Me and the Mrs went on the bike, glad we did because, as we'd left it until the last minute, the traffic from the motorway roundabout to the ground was crazy.

Really entertaining game of football, worst half time cup of tea I've ever had though.

Great ride home, A6 over Shap and through Kendal avoiding junction 34

I wish that every Morecambe fan could have been there today. It was utterly outstanding. Every element that we have craved came to fruition.

For me the highlight was Jim Bentley congratulaing every player as if they were promoted and then...

Turning to us with not another footballer on the pitch and showing just how much he is worth. Magnificent man, we will never get another Jim Bentley

Oh and btw... the team were just awe inspiring. Get down to the Globe next game and sing your hearts out because this squad can certainly achieve promotion.

If the trend continues, Morecambe could score close to 100 league goals this season.
But on the flip side, it could be close to conceding 100 goals too!
