Players contracts

Players in last year of contracts

Roche
Beeley
Parrish
Edwards
Dugdale
Wilson
McGowan
Fleming
Kenyon
Goodall
Devitt
Ellison
Miller

That's nearly a full squad set to be out of contract. The current form of a good few of them I think it's best we tried to tie them down sooner rather than later as no doubt other clubs will be sniffing round !

Are McGowan & Edwards the only ones under 24 years of age? Anyone over 24 years of age can talk to other clubs in January.

So how did that work out then?

Not sure about Barky and Jamie devitt ? Pretty sure wildig is only 24/25 too. Meaning if they do move on we'll get some sort of compensation for all of them, hopefully they'll all re-sign before the new year !

Barky is 22 and on a two year deal;if he continues as he has started given the clubs finances we will be lucky to hold onto him.
Dev can go on a free at the end of this season;again from a business perspective the club will probably be looking to cash in while they can.It will be down to where we are in January and whether we have a chance of playing at the next level, but the end of the season will be a long 3 months away.
Personally I think we will cash in on Dev in Jan, if so sorry to see him go and will wish him all the best.

Won't exactly get much for someone with 6 months left on their contract. Possibly £80k max. Wouldn't be worth cashing in on anyone especially devitt at that price !

80k beats nothing.

Devitt is not worth 80k i would be surprised if we got anywhere near that amount for any of our players except wildig

What's wildig done this season besides scoring against Stanley ? He had a good pre season but since that Stanley goal he's been off the boil big time for me. He's got quality but he hasn't been consistent !

What's Devitt done? Just the small achievement of having the most assists in the top four leagues!

EDIT: I had a long train journey today and misread your comment...it appears you were talking about Wildig!

Really? Admittedly he himself has said he hasn't matched the standards he set himself in his last three games but at Yeovil he got us back in it then set up two more goals!
Hasn't played for two weeks because of injury so it will be a rested Aaron on his return, hopefully back to his best.

Luckily Devitt has found form at the right time!

I'm not doubting Aaron's ability. I thought after pre season he'd be our main man n would of took charge of games particularly at home in the last few weeks. Was just hoping he'd be as consistent as he was in pre season. As for little shrimp saying what's devitt done  not many elite premiership players will get 11 assists all season !
