FA Cup 1st Round - nearly time!

FA Cup 1st Round - nearly time!

Postby Seasider9601 » Thu Oct 15, 2015 7:54 am

Wonder who we will get in the 1st Round this year?

Hopefully no repeat of the Dover shambles.....

Interesting tie in the 4th Qualifying Round, Sporting Khalsa v FC United of Manchester.

Sporting who??

Established in 1991, Khalsa have made it through to the fourth qualifying round for the first ever time and are one of the biggest stories so far in this season’s FA Cup. The Willenhall outfit states its vision is to ’use the power of sport to tackle social exclusion, and provide football opportunities for all members of the community’. As such, FC United fans will no doubt look forward to visiting a like-minded club.

AFC Fylde v Barrow another tie in the 4th Qualifying. Would be good to play either of those 2 in the 1st Round Proper.

we should make a commemorative programme ,whoever we get, replacing their name with man utd, and put fictional players in our team like gazza and jordan rhodes, we could sell them for £15 each, and use the money to buy a striker.

If we still get half the gate receipts then a bigger club away would make financial sense.

Away to a minnow and on TV in the first round.

Just don't uck fup!!!

Keep averaging three goals per game, and if we get an interesting draw, we'd probably be looked upon favourably for a live match and associated pay day.

Home to Blackpool for the TV?

Fingers crossed everyone. This year, more then ever, we need a good tie. As said above, please no repeat of the Dover nonsense.

Salford City away would be good - what with the Giggs, Scholes and Neville connections.

And of course, Joe Mwasile being there too !!

I know our form at home isn't the best but if its another non-league team I wouldn't fancy another Dover trip.

Chorley at the Globe would be fine :D

Sporting Khalsa away I hear you can get a nice curry. Or Walsall away, to finally go to the ground we pass more than most
