Jim has surpassed all my expectations with his signings. Can't wait to get on over the Hartlepool and cheer them on :D

Well happy now... you could pick 5 starting line ups for Saturday and still not get it right.

All these Jacks and Ryans coming and going are very confusing, bet Les is having a nightmare

Jack has been recalled by Preston a week early.. don't suppose many will notice.

Good luck Jack, you came at at a time when we couldn't score and couldn't see where the goals were coming from.

I think I'm right in saying that NONE of the PNE forwards have scored yet this season.

Maybe Larry Grayson thinks Jack Ryan is the answer to all his problems.

Jack Ryan

Recalled by Preston early, can only imagine it's due to lack of game time. If our JPT run continues then he'll be remembered for bullying Reece brown to set up Shaun Miller :D good luck to the lad in the future !

wonder if this frees up money, and creates a job vacancy so to speak.

another C/B would be nice, certainly our weakest department, especially if Parrish were to get injured.

I would very much doubt if it frees up money if our gates don't improve substantially from Tuesday nights poor show.

Why would we need a centre back with Adam Dugdale and Doyle on the books ?

Dugdales a walking disaster ! Look at the difference in the team since he's been out of it ! This is the first time we've had a back four unchanged for 3 games or more this season and we haven't been letting as many in as we have in recent weeks !

Jack was on a youth loan to us and therefore with us for experience with no money as such involved

The defensive improvements have come about with settled fullbacks and other changes such as Kenyon and Goodall protecting the back 4.
Dugdale is a decent defender who has played plenty of games at a higher level than this.

He played at Wembley when they won promotion.

Jim knows defenders and that's good enough for me.

So he gets recalled by PNE and farmed out immediately to Southport?

Recalled due to not being involved / lack of game time?

Indeed. From the PNE article:

The 19-year-old has moved Clubs in order to get more game time, and will join up with the Haig Avenue outfit with immediate effect.

No great loss.

We move on.

He won't be missed due to our numerous goalscorers at the moment! He's had to drop down to a lower level to get a game. He will probably do well for Scouseport! :D

Well, actually, he may well have had plenty of game time today as a replacement for Miller. I thought he looked good for the very short time he was on the pitch. Shame he wasn't here for the one time we needed him.

That is one of the reasons PNE recalled him

He would have only come on as sub in the 88th minute today, that is probably one of the reasons PNE recalled him. Anyway whats the point of strikers if they aren't given the ball?

Only saw him once, briefly, and I'm not going to miss him, TBH.
