They play at Noose lane, quite apt if you go there and lose, their Tuesday game had 87 fans watching. They are bringing marquees in for the visit of FC Manchester

Bladdy geeks everywhere, you should have been at the quiz tonight, no doubt you would have instantly named the 13 teams Kev has played for without cheating

From 'Football League Banter page' on Facebook:

https://www.facebook.com/TFLBP/videos/710924375675176/
If the link doesn't work, go on to FB and find it yourself!

Who would you want? A home draw, despite us not playing well at home? An away draw at a non-league side to see if we get a live match and some dose? Any League club drawn at Salford City will almost certainly be a live match, so perhaps we should keep our fingers crossed for that to be us?

Mind you, we'd need to be aware that they can score some cracking goals!

Goal of the tournament scored already? :o  :o

It's time we got through the first and second rounds - surely we are well overdue. That way we get the coffers filled up with the prize money and also get more people down to the Globe, which can only be a good thing.

Hull- should of finished 1-1 because Tommy Miller scored but the ref played on
Boston- loads of Shrimps fans turned up to witness a gutless performance after going down 3-0
Emley- one of my all time favourite games! it had everything
Oxford- we put up a brave fight but went down 3-2 in the last Minute
Lincoln ????? can't recall this game (don't think it happened)
Ipswich - town was buzzing as we gave a good account of ourselves against a prem side
Brentford- lost 1-0 in a game that we should of won
Ipswich- early sending off for Jimbo , good day but lost 4-0
Shrewsbury-can't remember the score
Hull- played our hearts out but went down 3-2 despite leading twice
Northwich-errrrrrrrrrr shocker
Swindon - again another Match we didn't deserve to lose but we went down 1-0
Port Vale- we beat them in the paint pot cup but this time had to Much for us
Cheltenham- lost by the odd goal after the tie had been called off due to fog
Carlisle- took them to a replay after a draw at Brunton
Cheltenham- lost to a dodgy goal late on
Sheff Wed- gave a good account of ourselves but went down 2-1
Coventry- see above
Southend- footballing lesson by the Shrimpers
Dover - this was the lowest I felt since Boston

I remember going to Sincil Bank for a Cup tie. It might have been that FA cup one. All I remember is that it was a bloody long way and we lost something like 2-0

There were a few sharing those frustrations that day; arriving in party mode but tail between legs and a long bus journey home. Definitely a "Bentley" day, rather than a "Jimbo" kind of day :D :D :D

Brilliant Hodgie, I would have had a tenner on you replying to that and finding the deliberate mistake.
Lincoln 3 Morecambe 2, Tuesday 28th November 2000... associated members northern section .. shame you couldn't make it as a part time fan

I think that's a good draw. Dagenham are bottom and have only won once all season. We're good away from home, it could of been a lot worse !

I'll stick with that prediction. Doubt if Dagenham v Morecambe will trouble the TV schedule!

I think your right with both those predictions Keith. It just means we've got to win and get a better draw financially next round.
