Morecambe v Leyton Orient

A Player Thread, but I won't be contributing to it or updating the title as the goals fly in. Normally when that happens, it is because I'm at the game, but today it will be because I'm at a wedding. I ask you, what type of person gets married during the football season??? :?

Predicting 2-1 to the lads. Only three goals predicted in this game? That's below average! 8-)

So how did that work out then?

That's worse than my daughter choosing Senior TT race day for her wedding, in Aberdeen

Horrible wet windy day it's guna be at the globe. Don't think it'll be a matter of the exciting football we've been seeing lately in this weather but more of a long ball battle game ! As if today wasn't guna be hard enough already !

Weather supposed to improve after 2pm (fingers crossed). Should be a good game and hopefully a home win. Wonders if Keith's mobile or tablet doesn't work on holy ground?

While the happy couple are making their vows you could pretend you're at the match. The referee had just made a poor decision, and you could chant...

I forced myself not to look at my phone all afternoon & evening. Came home in time to let the dog out and watch the end of The Football League Show.

Oh well. The wedding was good though and the weather turned nice just at the right time. Met some nice people and was spared listening to the game :( Still "the most entertaining team in England".

Drawing Didcot Town at home in the FA Cup 1st Round could be a goal feast. :) ...

On the other hand it could be a banana skin.

“I think it was a tackle, I’m not going to lie,” laughed Payne when asked about his winner at Globe Arena. “I see the geezer (Our Man of the Match) go to clear it and I just threw myself at it and luckily it has gone off me foot at quite a pace and the goalkeeper couldn’t react in time."

Their 1st clean sheet and first away win since August
