Half time, 0-1. Tight game but Orient ahead after a freaky goal, Edwards clears and it slammed off the bottom of Paynes boot to ricochet like a bullet into the bottom corner from the edge of the box. He didn't know much about it but they all count. We lost shape and they have sat in since the goal.
Looks like a job for Wildig second half!!

These are Rubbish an we can still win this ! Won't score a luckier goal than they did then ! Definitely need wildig in the middle because the passing has been terrible in midfield !

unlucky today, Jim treid to keep a wining team, we missed Miller.

Goodall had a off day by his own standards, Jims selection and subtitutions were spot on.

lost to a fluke of a goal.

Perfect summary.

Watched from my usual vantage point on the North Terrace and felt we were somewhat unlucky not to get a penalty for handball late on. Listening to Radio Lancashire in the car, Jim thought so too. Was a definite handball IMO.

Ryan Edwards MOTM though? Really??

Tough game next week at the Arrrrgoyle, but we'll come good.

the drinks were obviously very strong in the corp seats today........imho one of the worse players today, to me almost everything he did backfired......although 5 or 6 of the team were underwhelming today

Not really a penalty just straw clutching! Hit him on his stomach. Apart from the only 2 shots we got anywhere near the goal late on we never worried their defence. So negative and long ball crap. Not heard JB after the gam (and frankly getting tired of the same crap from his mouth), but probably full of hard luck, on another day we should have... physical team. ref blah blah...kin change the record when we lose! Wanted more fans, got them...served up clueless football and dull tactics. Will we ever learn? So frustrating
Don't worry be happy!

Have I been watching a different team all season? From match 1 against Hartlepool we have been easy on the eye. Goals have been flying in at both ends. From an entertainment perspective we can't have any complaints. We are one place outside the play offs, still in the JPT and the FA Cup draw is on Monday. I'm sure some people on here just like to moan for the sake of it. When we won 3-1 on Tuesday it was quiet on here. It always is after a victory but as soon as we lose a game the criticism begins. Prior to today we had won 4 in a row scoring 12 goals. This time last season we went on a run which saw us lose to Exeter (h), Accy (a) and Dover (a). I went to all three of those matches and the performances were embarrassingly poor. Anyone want to disagree that Jim has significantly improved the quality of the squad and the style of football we play?

Can't blame Edwards for the goal it was a clearance and 9 times out of 10 that would of went near the back row, whoever chooses them MOTM awards must be rotten drunk every game because besides Tuesday I can't remember agreeing with the idiots who pick it every home game ! It was a bad day at the office we'll play like that this season an beat sides and play better an will lose ! Probably starting next week everyone expects us to lose let's see what happens !

I'm not blaming Ryan for the goal. It was a freak winner.

I just think he had an off day and MOTM for me was Aaron McGowan again.

Top class.

I agree with McGowan also, he's been our best player the last two games. Be very difficult for Wilson to get back in the way he's playing !

The penalty claim near the end, having been fortunate in seeing it again, was ten times more a penalty than the one we had against us for Beeleys handball against Brizzle Rovers.
No excuses, maybe it wouldn't have made a difference, but if you see it again, the players arm is out by about 18 inches and moves towards the ball, traps it and he hoofs it away.
I cannot see why the ref didn't give it as he was perfectly placed.

At the time I thought it was deliberate handball, having seen it again, i'm convinced it was.
However it wasn't given and that's that!!
But it was nowhere near his chest? :D
