Good on them too.

That is the ethos of their newly-ish formed club.

FC United of Manchester were formed in objection to the likes of Sky TV highjacking football and re-arranging kick off times to stupid o'clock, Thursdays, Sunday lunchtimes etc etc.

One of FC's banners at their ground reads something along the lines of, "Proper Football. Saturday. 3pm"

A) Don't enter if you don't like the rules
B) Use the TV money to provide free entry.

Don't just object knowing there's nothing you can do about it.

Don't blame them at all for objecting. They are speaking out for all the little clubs who still believe that their supporters matter.

Bet the FA in the third round make Chelsea play on a Monday night ;)

FCUM have designated all their games this season as £9 maximum, for adults.

Minimum prices set by the FA for the FA Cup are £10 for adults.

FCUM objected to the £10 minimum charge saying it went against their club regulations and will have to charge £10 per adult.

However, they are to give everyone a £1 voucher which can be redeemed against food and drink on the night in the ground.

How many things in a football ground cost a quid. They've basically done something else to make yet more money!

You really don't like them do you???    They give you a quid off a pie. If you don't want a pie, just settle for paying a tenner to get in. You might get a cup of tea for a quid but you'd probably moan that it was semi-skimmed milk instead of full fat!

On the flip-side, the bigger club runs the rule over the non-league underdog...

So FC United object and the FA says 'tough' but Barnsley object and the FA say 'okay'.

Is Seb Blatter at the FA now?

Stop calling Sepp, Seb, Keiff ;)

Rules and rules and as the Barnsley one isn't on TV the move can be objected. Although where do you watch these single camera non TV games?

Lets play them in a pre season friendly, and see just how "friendly" they all are.

Darren Lyons on the coaching staff there. Used to be one of my favorite players when I first started watching Morecambe
