Talk about self destruct and think you have won a game in 10 minutes - this is ridiculous, we have been battered for half an hour at least giving the ball away at every opportunity

It's a good game to watch, bloody awful defending. What was the opinion on the penalty? I worried it may have been a red card?

Wouldn't like to bet on who will win this.

Dreadful, pathetic, naive, amateur, gutless, ridiculous, stupid, grim, useless.

Dreadful,
Dreadful,
Dreadful.

The conditions were awful, goal keepers kicking towards the bay could barely reach the half-way line. In the first half, Daggers worked out how to play against us, in the second half they pressed us high up the pitch and used the wind to their advantage. First half, we started superbly, then sat back instead of keeping pushing. We needed to press & press. Instead we let them back in through poor defending.

Yes they got lucky, an incredible deflection for their first and a bizarre third where they were able to wrestle Baz to the ground then practically sit on him while they scored. The ref then ran around like a headless chicken while he decided what to give before bizarrely giving a goal instead of the foul. In fact, the ref gave every decision their way. But even then, it is a weak excuse. We got what we deserved.

No better chance of getting to the Third Round of the FA Cup and we just didn't want it.

Spineless & embarrassing.

Thank goodness we didn't play them last Saturday or we'd have lost that game too.

Well that was dreadful!

After travelling all the way to Dagenham last weekend I didn't think it could get any worse....guess what, it just did.

2-0 up and genuinely thought we could get a big score against a team whose manager was losing it on the sidelines.

Penalty looked soft but after that we seemed to be hanging on, then falling apart.

Dagenham were more up for it and played the conditions much better than us.

The phrase 'horses for courses' springs to mind, yes it got worse in the second half but we just didn't deal with it like they did.

Passing was poor.

Massive concerns for us defensively as a team.

Thought Kenyon was poor all game.

I would also question the logic in playing 1 up front- we looked isolated and midfield wasn't mobile enough to support attack. They played 2 up front and linked well together.

Will people now turn out in the numbers we hope next Tuesday, I think not
