first of all we didn't deserve anything tonight so not going to make excuses but the 3 rd goal was a joke
seen the replay in the bar.....not only was the Baz pulled down the guy who trapped the ball with 2 feet and scooped it over his head which is against the rules

Not seen the replay, and not in a rush to re-live it, but that was the turning point. If the ref had got that decision right, we'd have only lost 2-3...

It was a dreadful decision though from a ref who was auditioning for the title of most inept person on a football pitch but he still didn't win it

Any attempt by anyone to try and excuse what happened tonight should, and will be roundly ignored, we lost a cup game to a very ordinary club who won didn't particularly look any more bothered about winning it than we did, apathy ruled tonight, and I think the repercussions will affect the rest of the season, we face a difficult time.

Disagree there, I think Dagenham looked much more up for it, pressed us throughout and battled when needed.

I'm sure they wanted to win ,everybody does, but our lack of passion, tactical awareness and direction made it easy for them, they were in no danger of losing once goal 3 went in.

We seemed to think we had won after 10 minutes and job done. We were nervy and on edge for the rest of the game.. we did more than any manager on the touchline can do to motivate the opposition, particularly when theirs had given up at that point.
2.0 can be a risky scoreline with 30 mins to go, let alone 80 in which we were jittery and just caved in with seemingly no idea what was going on, which colour shirt we were wearing or the importance of the game.

Definitely a foul on Baz.

I can remember 4 times already this season though that a player can trap the ball between their legs and keep it. I always thought that wasn't allowed/obstruction but must be legit to happen that many times.

Interesting enough for BBC to feature in their videos on the front page of the BBC sport website

The 2nd and 4th goals only beat Baz because they took deflections.

Not our night although some refs would have shown Baz a card for the penalty.
