When you see the boxes of season tickets in the Summer waiting to be collected it certainly looks a lot more than 300.

So 300-500 people per game are paying £17+. I didn't realise we lived in such a prosperous area! Even if you know you will miss a few games over the course of a season you would still buy a season ticket as it works out at £9-10 per match if my memory serves me right. This would suggest the 300-500 that are paying on the gate alternate. For the sake of £3 I don't see why all of these floaters wouldn't attend.

Can't see us breaking 2000 tbh. I'll go 1993, the year another, somewhat lesser known, singer died from AIDS (Ray Gillen, if you're interested). Still think that's optimistic though.

Sadly I fear a really disappointing crowd of less than 2000. That said I did buy 7 tickets today for red seats and the only availability was the front row, so I imagine the PMG bar will be pretty busy pre-match.

Should have promoted it better and had it less complicated with paying on the night. Still, a nice gesture to regulars but unless we all buy a skinful of beer I suspect a drop in revenue.

Its not quite as black and white as comparing revenues on one match or two if we include the D & R re-arranged match.

Will the offers entice back some of our "lost" fans to come to future matches and pay the full price or even better a season ticket.

Hopefully more than 2,000, but I don't think there will be. I'll go for 1904. Lets face it, The Globe is an absolute dump apart from the PMG. I hate going in the Omega stand and I only go in there because all my mates do. The facilities are awful. The view is awful and I genuinely believe that stand is the reason many people don't come and watch us anymore.

If we had beaten Dagenham in the cup game I suspect there would have been a lot more, but losing so badly I think around 1,600 will be about it also I'm not bothering. I will probably listen to the game on player.

Wild Bill less than 2000

Not too many thinking more than 2000, in any case there may be a few programmes on EBay next week

Definitely not! It would be too easy predicting 1100-1200 on a Tuesday and 1500-1700 on a Saturday until Boxing day and when Pompey visit.

Tomorrow is very unpredictable and although the Club will know the number of programme sales, they won't know how many of them will actually turn up as things and plans change during the week.
Also there have obviously been multiple sales and they wont know how many season ticket holders will rock up.

Would love it if 3000+ turn up and are treated to some sexy football and we win 3.0 or 6.4

This will close at 5pm tomorrow, I am not ripping the programme in half, so those off the other thread wont win and if there are 2 equally away from the exact total - the highest one wins for being more optimistic!

So you thought losing last Tuesday 4-2 to Daggers was a shambles, let me take you back to another anniversary.
Today the 23rd November is the anniversary of a famous F.A.Cup nightmare from exactly 40 years ago, a 5-0 defeat at Bishop Auckland also in the 1st Round.
That was in 1975, so on that basis my prediction is......no, not 1975 but 1795 at the Globe tomorrow night.

Why can't I shake Phil off?
On my birthday in 1649 I'd have had his head choppered off.

16.49? I was born at 23.45 (approximately), or so I'm told. 15 minutes later and I might have been superstitious. :?:

I'm thinking somewhere in the 17-hundreds. 1732
“Britain faces a simple and inescapable choice - stability and strong Government with me, or chaos with Ed Miliband: ".

David Cameron. May 4th 2015.
So how did that work out then?
