I can't waste much more of my life on Morecambe Football Club
It's become too much of an embarrassment
Most people would learn by making mistakes but not us
We are consistent at least
Jim talks the talk (same old tripe)
We believe him because we love and trust him
He marches us up to the top of the hill
Then marches us down again by playing weird formations at home which never work
I wish Jim would stop sitting on his arse looking like a dejected petulant child
Last night we saw an amazing thing and something that should be given far more attention
Murphy came on at half time and it was immediately obvious that he wanted to play. He took control, passed the ball without fear of failure, scored a tidy goal because he was in right place, booked for getting stuck in, organised and encouraged the team. For me he was a breath of fresh air an inspiration
I wonder how many games it will take for Jim to start tinkering with things instead of letting him get on with it?
I want Jim to be successful
I want the fans to sing and have fun again
Last season we renewed our season tickets on the strength of promises made by the Chairman
This year we renewed our season tickets because Jim signed some promising players
We feel thoroughly cheated and taking the drum away is the final straw
Unless things change the club will never get fans back no matter how cheap or free entry to a game may be
We are first and foremost fans of football, we like to sing and become passionate about the games we pay to watch. It's entirely understandable that long suffering regulars give up going to watch Morecambe play.
We go to watch football, it's the only thing that really matters
I don't blame the players for this situation, I don't blame the fans who would get behind the team in an instant given something to believe in. I blame the people who are the decision makers at the club who need to up their game
Nobody will miss us individually next season, we are just a pair of old has beens, but we have endured the substandard treatment as long as possible and have now reached the end of the road
Adios Morecambe Fooball Club, another two long standing passionate fans have regrettably decided to hang up their boots
