Rather go to Stevenage, watch it in the pub. Can't see naff all at a big boxing match unless you are ringside, end up watching it on screen anyway..... best bit being the build up and walk on
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

Noticed Jim in his interview tonight complaining about the attendances and saying we desperately need more people coming in to watch us. Can only imagine he's been told to say these by the board and they must be feeling it now only getting just over a 1000 in tonight. I wonder if Tyson could help us somehow on this front if we could somehow get him to come down to a game and do a meet n greet or something which would surely attract a few more of the town in and maybe also a few boxing fans too ? The club has a good relationship with Isaac Lowe who is close with Tyson and maybe someone could approach him to get down one game which would bring more people to the globe. Maybe not in the next few weeks due to his world title fight but can you imagine the publicity he'd be getting an people he could attract if he beats klitchsko or gives a good effort against him ! Surely we could get him to come down for an hour one game when he's not busy. We need to try something because this entertaining football doesn't seem to be getting more people in

Let's be honest the reason the crowds are down is due to last season and the lack of entertainment a lot of people said they wouldn't be back and that appears to be what has happened, the fact that we are now playing a much more attractive style of football doesn't mean that the missing supporters will just come back it will take time but if we keep playing the same way and we can stay in a playoff position into the second half of the season then we should see a gradual increase.

Of course consistency is key. I was just thinking of something to bump the gate in the next coming weeks as a start. Surely if we got Tyson down for one game after his big fight it would attract a lot of people and maybe even sky sports news may join us for the day ! We've got one of the best heavyweights in the world living in the town surely he can help us in someway !

If it will help to convince him to come down and promote the club, tell him I will retract my 'twonk' comment. That should do it.

Strange how last season, most people were saying that if we started to play attractive football, people would come back. Well, top scorers in the Football League, second most goals conceded, averaging more than four goals at every Morecambe match and we're considering whether a heavy weight boxer may help to boost the crowd? :( :( :( I'd say it is worth a try, but it is sad that the town still can't get behind the club when we are doing so well.

About 9:30 - 10 pm i think. It might not go ahead as the Klitchko clan have had three layers of foam mattress put down under the ring floor and the Fury camp are erm furious! They reckon it's been done to negate Tyson dancing round the ring and is tantamount to cheating!! :D
