Paz caught again in two minds, Thompson stayed put, corner.
It's all Cods, I'm afraid we look a bit sluggish compared to them.

All credit to Jimbo for acknowledging that on the night we were beaten by the better team.

Over the 90 they were the better side, what was disappointing was after weathering the storm for the first 45, how little we did in the second half.
Back to the drawing board I think.

Jim got it wrong tonight, we should of had more men in the midfield against quality opposition like Jimmy Ryan sarcevic and grant, but yet again he stuck with a formation that scraped a win against Dagenham last week. How are we ment to match opposition like that with 2 men in midfield and one haven missed most of the season they were just getting out passed and battled all game. Should of been 4-2-3-1. Sad to think our season is as good as over and it's not even xmas, seriously thinking about wether to even bother anymore now I'm sick of jims tactics and think this club needs a big shake up !

I never attended, but it sounded grim, and I was surprised at the line up, it looked like a very bold attack minded team on paper ,but statistics suggest one way traffic, not much to get exited about between now and may, I think the commercial side of the club need to step things up massively.

Disappointing with the lack of desire to win the ball tonight. Whilst acknowledging that Fleetwood were the better side they were not world class however they were committede to every challenge and won every second ball. We were the side who had the weekend off but looked like we'd been involved in a full bloodied cup tie with 30 mins extra time.

Kendalshrimp calls it right imo.
We need to look at formation on a game by game or even half by half basis, not "that worked, stick with it".
Barky as a wingback worked v Daggers but doing that means we lose his pace to counter.
Tonight it first half it worked again and he put in some great tackles, but with that wind he needed to be higher up the pitch where we lacked pace to chase. In summary wrong tactically.

No plan B tonight. We were defending OK but had nothing to offer once they got their noses in front.

Maybe had a sniff with a few chances early in the second half but overall another lackluster performance.

Many of us have now seen four consecutive Tuesdays and lost three of them quite badly. Need a win on Saturday to lift the spirits.

How many did we take tonight? Crowd looked bigger than 1700.

Having just read the report of the game it strikes me that a common thread is appearing in all the oppositions play time after time after time; that of being given a free run by an opponents midfielder at our midfield / defence without being challenged.

The number of times that we see the opposition running with the ball at our back line with little or no attempt to close the runner(s) down is increasing and yet little seems to be done to stop them from doing it.

Worrying..... :( :( :(

For me the best element of the Rochdale game was the pressure we applied high up the field on their players. Last night we missed a Kenyon or a Goodall. We let them on to us as noted above. However there was a chance they missed in the second half where we did pressure a little on their left and they passed it round us with absolute ease and worked a clear cut chance. I don't like seeing us adopt that approach but we did defend quite well until the first goal. We did not play well but we defended doggedly.

As Jim has mentioned already may just have to hold our hands up and say they were too good but naturally that attitude will not fly very often. Needs to find that right balance in games going forward
