the title isn't important, the important thing is money, the IBF have always been the major fly in the ointment in boxing and this should not surprise anyone, the bloke the IBF want fury to fight won his no. 1 contender
slot by beating a nobody who lost his last 4 fights , boxing is unpopular because no one takes it serious.

Fury comes from the travelers community where men are brought up to believe that women are there to bread and pay homage to the wishes of their menfolk.

If anybody has ever been to the Appleby Horse Fair it's for all to see that women of their community are treated less well than the horses that the menfolk trade for cash in hand.

It's little wonder therefore that Tyson's thoughts on the role of their women are what they are considering that such believes are archaic and have remained so for decades with little if any progression to change.

Ignoring the grammatical error, many people don't like boxing because they can't see the sport in 2 men trying to knock seven bells of s4!t out of each other.

Sharia Courts in this country don't exactly treat women very well either.
I don't see the PC Brigade petitioning for their immediate closure!

And if you take Tyson Fury out of the current story, but kept on the same theme about how the 'travelling community' supposedly conduct their lives, you'd then have the PC Brigade up-in-arms defending a minority group!

Bit like football. 22 grown men chasing one ball around, swearing at each other, kicking each other, diving over thin air, and abusing the man with the whistle. Surely giving them a ball each would make everybody happy.

thing is i don't think the PC lot would defend the traveling community.

they would ignore that, they do have bad double standards you know!

Donald Trump is a perfect example a lot of these people wanting him banned from entering the UK, will be the same one's who play the Human Rights Card sticking up for returning of known Jihadists and the entry of HATE preachers to the UK

Personally George, I wouldn't want Donald Trump OR hate preachers coming to this country, and either could well be prosecuted under our laws as they stand for inciting racial hatred. As for returning jihadists, as I understood it we aren't simply allowing them back in if we know they're coming or already here, but rather arresting and prosecuting them, as we should. I may not be the most dedicated of the PC brigade, clearly, but I haven't heard any voices so far supporting one and denouncing the other.

Phil. I know with absolute 100% certainty that 'hate preachers' come go this country on a rolling basis from Saudi Arabia.

They are members of the mutawwah [Islamic Religious Police]. They come to the UK with perfectly legal visas, their occupation is shown as 'Teacher'. They spend their time 'teaching' in UK muslim madrassas.

They only stay in the UK for 2 or 3 months, usually based in Birmingham, and they never get into any trouble with the UK authorities, and never over-stay. Perfect foreign visitors!

My understanding is that, if they are proven to breach UK hate laws on what they are preaching, they can be prosecuted, deported and banned. If you have evidence that this is happening, perhaps you ought to give it to the authorities so they can act. That's what I'd do.

it took just over 10 years for both Governments Tory & Labour to get rid of Hook Hand Hamza.

leading Politicians when challenged about this off reporters, said it was an long on-going battle with the UK courts and his human rights, and then after them the European Courts aswell,, who decide how we do certain things in the UK, that's how the EU works.

Correct George.

According to EU Human Rights Laws these people have done nothing wrong, and even worse, they can carry on doing nothing wrong until someone 'grows a pair' and kicks the feckers out of OUR country forever.

So Phil, who do you you suggest I report to, and what do you expect them to do about it, particularly as it's something they already know about?

Peter,

When you 'know with 100% certainty' something of which I was unaware, partiuclarly in the detail, then it reads to me like it's not common knowledge. I was assuming therefore that this was something that the authorities might not know about and perhaps something you discovered through work/contacts in the Middle East. On that basis it would have been right to report the matter to the police, same as it would a cannabis farm, paedophile, murder etc. The problem with many of these so-called hate preachers is that they are very careful that what they say in public stays within the law, and without the proof that they are breaching the law, it is very difficult to prosecute or ban these people. I am not in any way condoning what they do, which I find abhorrent. They are stuck in the Middle Ages and until they ditch religion and join the 21st century I see little hope of this kind of hatred disappearing.

I do, but I don't subscribe, and I can't recall the exact detail of the articles mentioned. I have slept since then. ;) Having said that, I don't always take the word even of the Sunday Times as being gospel, so using that as a basis to say 'I know with 100% certainty' might be stretching it a bit. Without the full text of the article I couldn't say. At the end of the day, it doesn't really change the meat of what I've said about hate preachers - I'm hardly supportive of them.

Getting back to Tyson Fury.

Our Doris can't see what all the fuss is about. A while ago we were in the top Wetherspoons in Lancaster. Doris went to the bogs upstairs, and when she reappeared her face was beaming. She said that this really tall handsome young man had just kept the door back into the bar lounge open for her, and when she thanked him he said "That's alright love, anytime!"

My turn for a wee, off I went, and saw this very tall young man. Guess who?

He must've assumed she was on her way to the kitchen...

Wonder who would be the first to take in some air..... :?: :?: :?:

Jim has this unique ability to talk on and on and on without appearing to stop to take in some air.

Maybe he was a South Sea Pearl Diver in a previous life.....
