But he won't be happy when his budget is cut even further. Disaster for the club's finances. Can't believe how few home Saturday games we've had this season so far.

Our last Saturday home game was Leyton Orient mid/late October

They are not just sat there waiting for you to call.

Have some patience and your call will be answered by a very busy lady I am sure.

You are so rude and quick to criticise!

8 phone calls to date and still nobody on reception .....

Maybe you should withhold your number next time :?: :?: :?:

Games also called off at Bradford City , Oldham , Fleetwood and Accrington so the North really being soaked.

Fleetwood usually boast that their pitch is always playable too.

Heard about the cancelation on the bay as I was passing west gate primary school , well p##sed off after traveling nearly 40miles . As I drove past the gloom arena entrance I noticed a coach from Exeter and it kind of put things into perspective :(

Although it was still ''on'' until 1.30, it was always fairly likely to be called off, most sensible folk would have thought twice about travelling a fair distance, and locals are not really too affected by a decision at 1.30, I don't think it would have been a large crowd anyway, so the real losers are the club, the clubs owner is a multimillionaire, so all in all, he'll not starve, so it's not a big deal to most people, anyone who finds this a major issue is lucky they do not have far worse things to worry about.

You appear to be blaming the club, but wasn't it the Referee's decision? How could it "have been avoided as ever"?

Not sure if this was a dig at me Mr Spuddy but i only set off when I read on here that someone had rung the club and they didn't think the game would be cancelled . If I did think twice (the sensible option) I would have stopped at home like most of the people in Morecambe who can't be arsed to support their local team come rain or shine .

Maybe if reception had been manned as they claim from 9am until match time on match day Saturday there would have been no need to ring constantly...that's my point.

Just imagine (it might be difficult for you I know  ) being on the way from Exeter and you ring to find if the game is on and you get no response....would you have been impressed :?: :?: :?:

And surely an answer phone message could have been left saying that a final inspection was taking place at circa 1.30....

Anyhow common sense prevailed in the end.

You live half an hour from the stadium neil, so nobody cares about your pointless bleating, and Exeter fans set off far, far, earlier than 1.30, none of them are on here whining.

With whats going on in the world, some people need to get a grip, its a game of football FFS.
Many of us have been miles to a game that has been called off, we grumble and moan then we go and deal with it (eventually)
stop moaning
Just be glad us as individuals don't have to worry about the loss of income for the last 3 months
Enjoy yourself.... It is later than you think

no need for people to get personal.

i understand we have part time staff, but you would think we would have reception staff on match day waiting for phone calls.
