Match OFF

Reception staff will have been very occupied welcoming hospitality guests amongst other things. It is very rude to answer the phone while you have customers standing directly in front of you.... IMO of course.
Having said that, I thought it was poor that Exeter fans had information about an inspection and 'we' didn't.

On a more positive note, I ended up going to the Preston v Reading game.
For a bit of a laugh I went in the Reading end and wore my Morecambe scarf :D
That brought puzzled expressions from the Royals fans, but then at half time I saw about seven or eight Exeter fans, who decided to take in a game anyway. I went up to them and shouted "Come on Morecambe!!"
They thought it was really funny and proceeded to take the proverbial out of me with comments like "That has to be the most ridiculous badge for a football team!" I said that Shrimps are so small that they are often underestimated and often spring a surprise.
" You were lucky to win the play off final in 2007" to which I said - Yes, what a shame that was for you!
They all seemed in good spirits and regarded the postponement at the Globe as just one of those things that happens.

only take's one person to answer a phone X 8 missed calls if that's what CC says is true

once welcomed by more than one person at reception, you then give your name and in return you then collect your tickets, you then proceed upstairs where if lucky are greeted by a top bloke Geoff Street(former player) and then into the W&L and then taken to your table by one of the catering team..

if it was me I would wait for it to be announced on here or the bay radio, and not made a big deal about it, but can see CC's point.

MFC / General Manager need to take a good look at itself and get their house in order.

Not at all impressed.

Reading this again still doesn't change my opinion that you really are a f*****g numpty!

no need for people to get personal.

i understand we have part time staff, but you would think we would have reception staff on match day waiting for phone calls.

Do you mean both of us? There are staff, but CC's attitude as a regular supporter who only lives up the road and has access to other lines of communication that stated the match was off as soon as the ref's decision was made like we all do, leaves alot to be desired. Besides, at that time, the match was still on.

we need an evil sherriff of nottingham, a man who manages the castle for the absent king, deeply unpopular with the lower classes as he herds them into a cattle shed without facilities ti observe him and his cronies in their ivory tower, any suggestions?

Moving this swiftly back ON topic, I wonder when we're looking at for the re-arrangement?

Exeter will be waiting (and more interested in) to plan any replay at Anfield first.

Tuesdays will be busy with Pompey to add to the list as well
