I can't believe you have used Beeley and pace in the same sentence.Once maybe, now he needs to shed some timber.

hardly in the Danny Adams league.

Beeley's got a good engine, and not bad for a defender running forward with the ball.

unless he's put on 2 stone since the last time I seen him play over a month ago. :?

Described by the cods as "a right chunky kit kat" I'll stick with he needs to shed some.He has a good engine in the same way a taxi has,yes will run forever but hardly quick.
Also needs to learn that as a full back /wing back your primary role when defending is to mark the wide man, not stand 10 yards plus inside him.

I really have no confidence ahead of this game. Despite York's position, I still have a horrible feeling that we will stick with the failed plan of worrying more about conceding and less about scoring. York will probably start by trying not to concede too, so it will be a boring first half of hoofing the ball from defence to defence and back. Freez will say "this is right up there with cleaning the oven/felting the shed roof"... more than once. Then as a result of not getting beaten by the 70th minute, York will grow in confidence and it will all go horribly wrong... ...again

I actually wouldn't be too upset if we concede in the first five minutes, so we have to start attacking.

I'd be delighted if we went at them right from the first minute until the last and ripped them apart with free flowing football that we know we're capable of because we started the season that way.

So my prediction would be much easier if Jim would tell us which version of Morecambe we're sending out tomorrow?

Sadly, as we've not had an indication, I'm guessing the tried and failed recent style will prevail... 2-0 and a new depth before finally turning it around sometime in January

If you're right about the style of play and the result what makes you think we'll turn it around in January :( :(

York have only scored 6 at home and conceded 13 (5 against Accy). We have scored 20 away from home and conceded 18.
Every instinct screams go for them as they clearly struggle to score and it's one area we don't struggle. This game ( as others have said) can be regarded as a statement of intent; play off chasers or survival seekers. We will know around 2:15 tomorrow.

PLEASE be brave Jimbo and give us a good Christmas present.

Pubs are brimming already.. I predict it will be very messy later on and somehow we will 1.0 :o

Shrimps to win 3.0 is a hefty 20/1 :?

Well that's what I've predicted  but not with that much confidence. Guess I'll just be more than happy if I'm right. :D

I predict that none of our directors are attending tne game tomorrow, which is, frankly, disrespectful.

Play Barky as the main striker that's where his pace will cause the opposition the most problems anyway it's almost christmas so lets be optimistic York 1 - 4 Morecambe.

Steve,
Is Barky fit? Got a deadleg v the cods and already had a heel problem.
BIG loss if he isn't fit over the festive period.

from Jimbo:

“We tightened up against Dagenham playing three at the back and got the one goal but we could easily have scored three or four."

“We’ve been open this season and played 4-2-3-1 or something like that and we’ve sometimes not scored the goals we wanted to."

Looks like wingbacks then; add "difficulties in training" and if so inclined one could see excuses in advance for a poor showing.
Please prove it to be wrong...........
