Relegation battle

Relegation battle

Postby Kendalshrimp » Sat Dec 19, 2015 5:35 pm

I know we're 14 points above the drop zone but the way things are going I just can't see were our next win is coming from, we've got good players at this level and some of them the past few weeks look clueless, 6 more wins should seal safety but if that's all we can manage then Jims future needs to be assessed at the end of this season !

Definitely a relegation battle. Now we need to know if the players have the heart for it?

Wonder if too many have been involved in relegation battles before to have the heart and passion to want to get out of the predicament.

:?: :?: :?:

Maybe it's time for Kevin Ellison to become more involved in off field matters. We badly need his enthusiasm in the dressing room as a 'leader'.....I for one can see him in a managerial / number 2 role in the not too distant future.

The teams at the bottom are to far behind and poor for us to get into a relegation battle.

probably finish around 4th from the bottom , getting to the point where discussion is tedious.

They're not though worryingly.

The points gap isn't all that big.

However, I DO think we will stay up.

Jeeees. How did we get to this talk after the early season hopes??

Apparently we were conceding too many. It went to rat-shit when we 'fixed' that problem... :?

and the weird thing is that Baz was yet again man of the match - and at least he seems bothered, shows spirit, effort and concern about what's going on

Yes, teams like York and Dagenham.......they can beat us but unless they beat some of the others they aren't going to catch us.........all we need is to draw most of our remaining games 0-0 :o Now, what about a 4-5-1 system Jim? ;)

Relegation battle? we have been every season until we get 50 points, not halfway yet.

i'd like to think we'll get over the line and stay up, but we need changes on and off the pitch.

If nothing changes, I wouldn't be surprised if the last league match of the season is York and Morecambe fighting it out to avoid relegation.

We can surely accrue 23 points from 25 games.

The bottom 2 teams need 37 points from 24 games which is play-off form.
