Looking doubtful but really hope the club can get it on. Guess there will be an early pitch inspection before any decision.

Thought we could play Bank Holiday Monday instead but just checked and we have Notts County away.

We asked for the Globe to be excorcised a while a go to get rid of the bad luck . This is maybe the big fella upstairs way of cleansing the place .
Seriously though does the referee have to call the game off or can common sense prevail and allow the club to call it off, to prevent people traveling for no reason ?

The latest forecast is that Lancashire is now on its highest ever Red level warning and that there will be more rain falling today than an average month's typical rainfall in December.
If the game is on then I really will believe that it's possible to walk on water!!!

Now it's confirmed, you could post saying 'game off'!

So how did that work out then?

A suitably qualified, local referee can call it if asked. It's happened in the past when a local guy was asked to carry out an early pitch inspection and called the game off.
