Radio Lancashire Sport have reported this lunchtime that Jimbo is hopeful of having a new 'keeper by tomorrow night.

It is precaution that we need a 2nd keeper knowing Barry can get injured at anytime. Unless we have a player who can stand in, we have no choice.

What's happened to Tom Stewart?

He did ok when called upon last season when AA got sent off.

I thought Tony Thompson looked competent enough as a deputy for Barry.

The fact that we have let him go suggests it was probably a cost saving measure and the club are probably looking to see if a higher up club that will do us a favour with a young loanee.
