Maybe, but he's been replaced by Andy Hessenthaler, a filthy player and formerly manager of a filthy Gillingham side. With our current injury list that could be another expensive game.

Anyone who manages a side that concedes 5 to the current Blackpool team deserves the sack.

If by chance the mighty Shrimps don't go up to League 1 this season then an ideal scenario from an attendances point of view would be Blackpool , Fleetwood , Oldham and possibly Crewe coming down.
I don't think that will happen as Oldham will revive under Shez.

Strange timing and decision IMO. Pellegrini is still in all four competitions with Citeh and they could draw Bayern in the Champions League.

Personally, I don't see Pep as a top coach/manager. I'd like to see what he could do when he isn't given the best teams in their respective leagues to manage coupled with an open cheque book. This will be his biggest test, but its still hardly challenging.

Some people see Jose successes at Chelsea and Real Madrid in similar lights, but he also won the Champions league with Porto and Inter Milan which weren't particularly fancied sides and performed well as a the coach of smaller Portuguese clubs.
