He's the Manager so what will be...will be.
Doesn't mean that'll get it right...or wrong for that matter.....but if it all goes tits up then their is only one person to blame......
Very bold to stick with basically Tuesdays' formation.

Barry said, in the Radio Lancs interview, words to the effect of 'it probably wasn't good for the fans to watch' but as Jim has said previously, it was 'nearly' successful.
It continues to worry me that despite everything being said by the fans, that it is crap to watch, despite the dwindling attendances because the football is crap to watch, despite the players (and management) knowing that it is crap to watch... and it is repeatedly failing, we are going to persevere with the same style?
If we win the next four games 1-0 and end up close to, or in the play off spots, will attendances increase? I'm not convinced they will unless the feedback is positive about how we are playing. So I suppose now the question needs answering, which is more important? Getting fans back or achieving a top half finish?

Therein lies the problem. We disagree as to how to get the fans back. Personally, I'd like to see us playing adventurous football, even if we pick up less points as a result. In reality, I think we have the players who are capable of being positive, adventurous AND successful. Trying to grind out 1-0 wins is not what this bunch of players are best at AND it's driving fans away.
Remember when we ripped Crawley to shreds when they were top of the league? We got ahead and just kept going? *sigh*

Don't see that at all. Unless we're in a promotion push or relegation battle, I don't thin k it matters where we are mid-table. I really can't see any fans thinking that they'll come and watch Morecambe because we always end up in 12th position. They'll come if the game is worth watching, they'll come to see a relegation scrap, they'll come to see a promotion push. I really don't see they'll come to watch boring hoofball or draws just because we're in the top half of the table.

I imagine many people who aren't watching us will look at where we are in the table and judge how good we are on that before deciding whether to come and watch us. Keith said "top half" which I see as anywhere between 1st and 12th as opposed to bottom half being anywhere between 13th and 24th, and not just top half meaning scraping 12th as you imply.
