I really enjoyed that

Well deserved point and entertaining game which we didn't deserved to lose and had a surprising saviour to say the least. You could see what it meant to the players and fans and the mood lifted massively. A lot of graft all over the pitch, a rare piece of brilliance from Barky to set up Molly in the dying seconds but the keeper pulls off a world class save, and from the ensuing corner Baz nods it in.
Cue pandemonium.
More of that every week please; yes a bit wobbly in parts but much better .A big well done to Jim and the lads (but we did play better in a 4/4/2).The irony is imo both teams played better against the wind.

Fantastic ending, when I saw Roachie I thought for a second it was their keeper out of position, then he heads it goalwards......well deserved point, at half time I thought we might have blown it being behind and playing against the wind for the second half.......we missed a couple of chances in the first half......, lets hope this is a turning corner moment

What a moment to be part of. An I was there must moment.

Hopefully it can change the momentum of our season. We did deserve a point on our second half showing, but if we had not scored the players would have been booed off the pitch tonight.... I heard some people booing near the 90 min mark after a misplaced pass... As the boss says; it's a fine dividing line!

Have to give Fleming some credit, his best game for a while and worthy of MotM. I hope he keeps it up. Also thought Conlon had a good game, whipping in a couple of good crosses that our strikers should have been making a better effort to get on the end of. Miller very poor, wish he wouldn't get nominated for awards!

But the night belongs to big Baz and the 900 Shrimps fans in attendance. Buzzing!

Reminds me of that Crewe game when a certain well known Morecambe fan left early (I think because it was his birthday?) and missed the most amazing turn around! Some Crewe fans left early to catch a train and were told the score at Lancaster train station, they didn't believe it!

(Only just realised, Shaun Miller scored in that game and it was his missed penalty that led to our amazing comeback)

Or the two minibuses that went from the Pier Hotel to Deepdale for the final of the Lancashire Senior Cup v Chorley. One bus left a minute early with us losing and a Chorley corner deep in injury time. Chorley whipped the corner in, with their manager screaming for them to play it short. We cleared it, straight up the other end to equalise! Extra time. We went on to win the final, our first success after decades of doom and gloom (thank goodness Shrimpsvoices wasn't around during the late 70's and most of the 80's!

In the days before mobile phones (if the younger views can imagine such dark, satanic, black & white days?) the first bus arrived back in Morecambe but there was no sign of a second one. They were beginning to seriously worry when the 'lost bus' arrived back, celebrating!

Did anyone leave early tonight? Name them!

Such a pity that those who said on SVs that they wouldn't be back missed an entertaining game. Even if we hadn't come away with a point the game was much improved on recent dire performances.

Goes to show that we are capable of matching the best, just wish we could do it on a regular basis.

Also we finally seemed to have learnt how to play both with and against the wind.

Maybe it was my shout as the team came out for the final 45 that reminded them to play the ball mostly on the deck.....   ;) ;) ;)

It's incredible to realise that the league table for that game contains 7 teams now in non league,9 who have achieved promotion and 1 who has packed in :!: :!: :!:
