does this apply to that Morecambe FC fans group, where you admin on facebook, you are Paul Carter are you not?

there is just as much if not more negativity on there after games, and certainly more swearing.

I am yes.

But you cant stop negativity, I posted this here as even after the meeting I had as FCoM with the club, people still moaned saying that they didn't believe the answer's given. They now have the chance to ask ALL the questions themselves, But you know as well as I do,The moaners will still moan and not bother turning up. At the last one there were about 15-20 people there and 6 at most asked questions but still people came on here after moaning that certain questions had not been asked and answers to there satisfaction, but were unprepared to ask them. So I thought it might be an idea to keep them in one place.

As for the FB page that was set up by another fan who made me admin. I just post FCoM stuff on it, and try not to get involved in the moaning.

so do you mean you want everyone on shrimpsvoices, facebook, or the members of FCOM to all moan together in the same place?

I'm a bit puzzled, and that would mean all different types of moan in one spot ,would it?

Please clarify.

And can you tell people where to moan? will there be penalties etc.

All I was suggesting was , that if possible could the moaning be kept in one thread (from SV users), its easier to follow. Rather than 3 or 4 different ones all covering the same stuff.

Only if it is still level after extra time?

Now I read it, It was as clear as mud.

If you want to keep all the moaning in one thread then you may aswell only have one thread on the forum because everyone has different opinions and will never agreed on a lot of things, if someone starts a thread tomorrow if we lose saying Bentley out asif that's guna stop any negative posts but if Miller scores a hatrick an someone starts one saying Miller for England then there's guna be someone on here who'll still moan

Do the moans have to be Mfc related ?

Just that I have had a stressful week at work and if mcguigan can spare half hour to listen, that would be great possibly a bit wierd too

He must be sick of hearing the same old moans from the same OLD moaners, bet he just wishes he could put up a soddin roof to keep 15 people happy and dry for that matter

ps, I would like under floor heating cos my feet always get cold stood on the concrete - I think I might have got chewing gum on the bottom of my shoe aswell - how do I claim for that, what's the address.

I know the answer, lets move back to Christie Park, we played better football there (or is it their, I forget)

do the 1000 fans we've lost since 2010 come into this bracket, and just brushed off as moaners?

we had an hardcore knocking on 2000 when we moved to the Globe, it's looking like it will be 800 hardcore next season.

we've lost half our support.

Good point
I don't mind the so called moaners because it shows that they care unlike the 1000 fans that have deserted us.

Bang on George. Its not moaning to highlight the issues that are losing fans year-on-year. I guess if the there were more positive things going on around the club it wouldn't be the same moans coming up week-in-week-out. Yes some people are naturally miserable but even generally positive posters are starting to get fed-up.

With regards to the lack in interest at fans forum, I guess its that people don't feel anything will get done from any issues raised. FCOM have raised the issues on the Omega facilities a number of times. For whatever reason though, PMG seems to be holding out for a new all singing and dancing suite that the business can't afford anytime soon. The reasons why something more simple couldn't be constructed, perhaps financed by the fans themselves sounded to me like a total fob-off. PMG got CP sold off to Sainsbury's and the Globe built within a couple of seasons, so I doubt he would have any real problems with council regs or CCTV if he had the will to build something. Not listening to the fans (his customers) is for me a bad business move.

Its kind of hard to know what to do if your dissatisfied with the Globe matchday experience, and thats a moan in itself.

I was never a week in week out supporter but I've dipped in shall we say over the years and I loved going to Christie park and went as a kid and in turn took my kids a ; I've met some great people along the way as well. The Globe for me personally is a disaster and as a ground I hate it.
I can put up with poor football , boring 0-0's, losing several on the bounce , losing heavily etc etc ;thats all part of being a football supporter with any team, you just keep supporting, 'moan' but keep supporting.
But for me the facilities , ground design and all the other bits and pieces of food availability , shelter, pre match, half time entertainment, location, advertising of matches lead to a dull experience. Its been like that from day 1 at the Globe and 'others' used to say "give it time" or if you don't like it "F*ck Off" and quite a few did !
My lad and his mates got free season tickets with school and didn't go to a single match ! I could'nt believe it at first but its probably understandable , he cited a "crap" ground and although I know he's a good lad , steward hostility !
So sadly I "Fuck*d off" and I've no regrets if I'm honest, I enjoy doing other things on a Saturday with the family and I'll happily settle down for an hour or two with Jeff Stelling and keep up with all the action, guilt free ! I wouldn't rule out a return and if Morecambe land a big fish in a cup draw , I'd be there in a shot :? (Joking!) But the Globe needs some work yet in my opinion for your ordinary fan, big time, I don't want a three course meal and posh seats and maybe thats the difference, but even they don't seem happy ?

Your more than welcome to sit next to me.....

For those who constantly have a go at PMcG and the stadium, maybe they could tell the rest of us how they would have funded the work that would have needed doing at the old place to retain our League status. The main stand was in need of a major repair. The changing rooms would not have met League approval after a couple of seasons to name just a couple of faults.

So come on you tell us..... :!: :!: :!:

I've NEVER moaned at PMcG and never would.
But the move to the Globe has alienated a lot of your regular Christie Pk attenders and a combination of those not coming any more plus people who aren't attracted to the Globe has led to poor attendances. Funding issues at the old place , I confess I wouldn't have a clue, its not my area, sorry. I havn't got any spare cash to give to the club and should that stopped me expressing my opinion ?
But I thought Christie Pk had some great features, its gone forever, but it was a nice ground and I know from football mates up and down the country it was well liked. Perhaps some of its features could of been incorporated into the new place ?
But condemning 'moaners' isn't the way a head. Replace moaners with customers/supporters/clients
giving you feedback and you might get somewhere. Otherwise the stayaways will stayaway. I can't honestly say I speak for anybody but myself but I've gone from a 25-30 home games / 6-10 away games a season to zero. I very much doubt I'll go to any more homes this season.
I don't make a point of moaning/complaining on a regular basis ; but its surely of concern to "somebody" WHY people either aren't coming or others have stopped going. I'm personally not interested in attending forums / sending emails etc but still would say I am a Morecambe supporter and genuinely want to see them do well and SURVIVE.

I look at The Globe as a new version of Christie Park. A main stand which runs the entire length of the pitch (unlike Christie), Berlin wall side more or less the same as the car wash side. Behind the goals a smaller home end with a lower roof (smaller than the previous roof), and the away end a lower roof than the Umbro stand. I think the new terrace holds about the same as the Umbro did as that was a shallow terrace? At the time the Umbro stand was built i think it was designed for seats to be put in in the future? I don,t recall a roof behind the north stand just a small catering van at each end, and only served alcohol there in the last couple of seasons? Another catering van for the away fans too. An improvement on the Berlin wall is built toilets and a catering area! A lot of this hatred of the new ground coincided with a decline in form on the field i think. Just my opinion :D

I suspect they will be reading this, thinking well you don't know what the inside of the Globe looks like.

spoke up for you before, with people ganging up on you, don't like seeing people ganged up upon, but for the sake of £1 a day if you got shrimps-player at least you will be singing off the same hymn sheet as others.
