If the club do not at the very least freeze season ticket and matchday prices they could see attendances dwindle even further. If they are raised, well then heaven help us.

The price isn't the issue, they could make it free again like the Dagenham game, but such is the cloud over the place that people would still say its overpriced.

Everyone needs to sit down and sort it out.

The price definitely is an issue - if prices go up, I definitely won't renew my season ticket. If they stay the same or even fall, I might renew it.

On season tickets I would like to ask the club if it would consider a scheme , I think used by Bradford City , whereby if the club sold a certain number of season tickets then the price would come down.

We could set the target at say 1,500 which if it was achieved the price would be less.

Why isn't the bar at the ground more popular? If there was more Christie Park memorabilia/photos and a meaningful name ('Charlie's Bar' or something like that?) would it begin to feel like home?

So how did that work out then?

I've said this a few times Keith mate.

It's the name. It's awful. Should be renamed Charlie's Bar or Clarries Bar.

The present Globe Bar & Grill name is about as appealing as the local golf club. It needs to be renamed something with a "fan theme" (as above) if you get my drift.

On the subject of renaming things. "Club Shop." What a boring, unimaginative name.

Why not rename it Shrimps Store, Shrimps Shop, something with a bit of thought and an identifier to US.

I'm hoping that the Board would see a growth in season tickets could be instigated by a 10% reduction in season ticket prices.

wholesale changes are needed, something revolutionary in order to stop our hardcore becoming 800 average next season

so the majority of fans are walking away from the ground happy, instead of pissed off.

It doesn't feel like a sports bar. I like Fleetwoods bar with the booths. There's a lack of atmosphere in there. Stick some sports related music on.

The cost of watching football in this country is a national scandal, when you look around Europe to see what the going rate is.
I'd love to see Morecambe try for at least one season to try and buck this trend. Really go for it and try and get people in the place. Say a tenner behind the goal, main stand no more than £15 and the Berlin Wall for just a fiver!
Reduce cost of season tickets, with direct debit scheme available.
Just keep things simple, no crazy schemes or having to jump through hoops. Just low prices on the gate.
It's clear that current prices are putting off an awful lot of people.
If it doesn't work at least we could say what an effort the board have put in...

Just come across this article in the Independent this morning:

Makes some interesting reading, particularly the comments about winning back support.

You can now email the club directly with your question (office@morecambefc.com) FAO Derek Quinn, so no need for me to collate!

Might also be worth posting it on here so we can see if it's been asked if you aren't planning on attending or don't want to ask in person.

Are our excellent pies being sold to outside businesses all around and if not why not. What other delicious award winning foods are available from our catering department to outside customers.

What is happening to the land at the front entrance of the ground and who actually owns it.

Are Morecambe fc or anyone connected with mfc still in discussions with FDKG sports/ shanghai clever and if so what is the up to date information
.
Could something be done about the sponsors mom award, for me it sounds like a right load of inaudible waffle and something that needs more charisma and content.

Has Quinny got these questions or do I need to email him to make sure?

From my recollection it is owned by a partnership of the current and former Vice Chairmen. As to what will happen to it.... :?: :?: :?: I haven't a clue but I think that if and when the land is re-sold any profits from the deal will go back into club funds with no profit other than expenses going to its current owners.

I'm more concerned about answers with regards to the naming rights of the stadium which as it stands contribute nothing in terms of finance which when no money is available for team rebuilding seems illogical. :( :( :(

A bit of imagination ,planning and building work could create an access point from behind the goals to the bar during matches , so fans would have their facilities that are sat empty anyway, if the club site ''segregation issues'' , then why are away fans allowed to sit in the wrightand lord stand?

Will never happen though.

Wouldn't surprise me if a major announcement concerning club funding was made public tonight which may provide some much needed positivity going forward.
