3 as it is violent conduct.

Straight red is 1 match for denying goal scoring opportunity, 2 matches for offensive language and 3 matches for anything else ie, serious foul play, violent conduct

Some one asked at ht why wasn't Fleming warming up with the sub's. We pointed out he HAD played the 1st half. That's the impact he had had on the game. Won't be missed and hopefully will be gone at the end of the season.

In my opinion he has wasted his talent. When he first came to us he seemed to have bags of potential but sadly he hasn't realised this. He now imo drifts in and out of games and rarely delivers a telling pass preferring square, easy passes across the pitch. Coupled with his mad behaviour at Bristol yesterday it is perhaps time we went our separate ways.

On his day he is a really good player , we need him to come back after his enforced break and play like a Championship player.

Maybe not this season but they have certainly scouted him in the past.

Fleming as had enough time to prove himself, money is tight i would rather give his job to somebody else who's reliable.

if you were a manager at a workplace, and you had somebody an employee on a fix term contract who was coming to an end and you had to review them, and further employment.

this would be Fleming

1) unreliable (fitness problems over his term)

ahhhh, but now we're talking Unions

Maybe not this season but they have certainly scouted him in the past.

Yet didn't sign him - most likely for good reasons.

This is his sixth season with Morecambe. He's 28 and it's too late to stop talking about potential. He's been injury prone, and drifted in and out of the first team, and when he's on the pitch, drifts in and out of games (and that's if he drifts in to begin with).

He's not an awful player, but he's had ample opportunity to progress, and for whatever reason hasn't taken it. Time for him to move on and see if someone else can take the opportunity.

I thought he only signed a one year deal in the Summer with an option for a 2nd? If he wanted to get rid then we don't take up that option. Same with Dugdale I think?

Spoke to someone who confirmed he has played enough games and I believe him as he has played a lot and still will play a lot now till May. Finally found some proof from Jim:

The club can't get out of it triggering so up to Fleming but why would he not take up the option when Jim likes him?

i suspect he could have the club on the grounds of unfair dismissal. double standards, as Kev Ellison pulled somebodys hair down the tunnel, and got red carded after the match finished, and why is the Andy Fleming case different.

Just watched it on Player. Why was he arguing with the ref about it? It was as clear a sending off as is possible. Okay, their guy rolled around as though he had his hair pulled by Edward Scissorhands but regardless, it was a blatant red card.

Have to admit that Fleming is not by a long way a favourite of mine and had hoped that we would not sign him up from another season of sideways / backwards passing but if he's able to trigger a clause in his contract entitling him to another season...then so be it but I hope that our club would see it that his contract was cancelled.....
